The Cleveland Bagel Cafe — Restaurant in Kent

I absolutely love this place. The food and the drinks never miss. The atmosphere is wonderful (and can’t forget about the comfy chairs upstairs). All the workers there are exceptional and super friendly! There’s only one thing that I wish was different, and it’s super selfish of me to suggest. I wish that the Valentines Mocha had been here longer this year. It was the first thing I ever got from here and it’s what made me start drinking iced mochas in the first place. Ever since the valentines season had started I was waiting for it to come. Don’t get me wrong, the layer cake mocha was amazing and super yummy! I was really bummed out to see it was only here for three days at the end of the season, and I had unfortunately been sick that exact time so I couldn’t get it. So my only suggestion would be to maybe have it here longer next year? Like maybe do half time with the layer cake mocha and half time with the valentines mocha. That’s all! Keep up the great work yall...

I go to Kent I’ve been driving past this place telling myself to stop in It looks like it would be really good. I came in with a friend today. The line was so long. Everything looks very promising. I ordered an avocado and egg sandwich and it was absolutely disgusting. There is no flavor. There’s a very thin layer of avocado. It was mainly lettuce and tomatoes… it tasted like nothing….i could not even finish the sandwich its it was 8$ for just a a bagel with lettuce and tomatoes basically and I ordered an orange juice and it was like a child size for that price I would expect exceptional food but the service was good. I was very excited to see a new breakfast spot on Kent! We came in on a Sunday around 3:00PM. The staff greeted us and were friendly. After ordering our bagels we over heard one of the young female staff members claim that they are tired of making bagels and that they were just going to use the ones they have. Our bagels were extremely tough and almost inedible. Especially for the price of my bagel being $13 dollars, I would expect a fresher bagel. There were 3 or 4 staff members working and it was an extremely slow day yet no tables were wiped, trash cans were much overfilled and the whole place looked like it could use a clean.
