Buzz Cup Coffee & Donuts — Restaurant in Kentucky

We were traveling thru the area and found this spot on google. So happy we gave it a try! It’s not too far off the highway (5 minutes tops) and is located in a small local shopping strip with a few other shops. The interior space is a one room, walk-in area with display case and counter , I don’t recall seeing any tables or chairs inside so plan on taking your treats to go! We stopped later in the morning but there was still a large array of donut choices and a rather large coffee/drinks menu to choose from. We each ordered a large cold brew (there were also normal espresso and flavored coffee drinks if you prefer a sweeter option) which was made with a delicious tasting coffee bean - not too dark or roasty , and complimented the flavor of our pastries quite well! For donuts, we ordered a strawberry glazed (bf said the strawberry tasted fresh and homemade), a chocolate chocolate chip, and an apple fritter… all were terrific - soft and fresh, and so flavorful! The shop itself, despite being small, was sunny and welcoming (loved the cute plants!) and the owners were very sweet and helpful as we made our choices. Don’t know when we’ll be in the area again but would definitely stop here...

This is the best donut shop in Mt Sterling. Favorites are the maple bacon, cinnamon twists, lemon filled, and cream filled long John’s. They have really good blended frappes. Caramel Bianca with an extra shot is my fav. Their frappes have a nice icy blend that prevents your drink from melting too quickly on the hot dummer days. (Just the right blend. Not too icy.) My son really likes the iced chai tea and the iced Thai tea. The owners are exceptionally nice and the employees are as well. I only gave 3 stars for the atmosphere because this isn’t a seated restaurant. Drive thru and Take Out only. If you’re in Mt Sterling,...

i ordered an iced latte, but their machine was down. so the worker said he could make me a cold brew. when i was handed the drink it was warm with ice in it and it was making the ice melt. i put it in the freezer when i got home hoping to cool it down. i opened it after a little while to put more ice in it, and it spilled everywhere bc the ice had melted. the taste of the coffee was good i just wish i could’ve enjoyed it cold like i ordered. and once it was cold it was watered down. they need new methods of making iced coffee. i would try them...
