Los Rodeos Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Mount Sterling

Update Dec 2024 Tried this restaurant once again and it was like night and day difference. Service was quick. Our meals where flawless and delicious! For this reason I have changed my review to a 5 atar and look forward to dining here again with the family!!

Edit: We went back, and 3 of the 4 orders were wrong, and part of the order never came. The sad part is they weren't packed or overrun.

Came in and was seated very quickly. This place was pretty busy, but after we were seated. Took about 20 min to get our dink order(not a problem though) part of us got our drinks, and my husband did not. Waited another 20 min. Still, no one came back to the table, and my husband didn't have his drink. Saw 3 other families come in, be seated, and order with their food arriving. 30 min later, we were at the point of leaving when someone came and asked if we were ready to order. Ummm, yes, please, and could we get the last drink:/ Brought the wrong drink out 🤦‍♀️ didn't say anything just ordered, and the food seemed to be old. Makes me sick to think about, but I felt like the beans might have been left over from another plate cause there were beans smeared around the edge🤢 Time to go and hope for a better experience next time or just pick a different...

So this only mex-tex restaurant in mt sterling has some of the best food ever! They even have an "authentic" Mexican food section on their menu. Everything is reasonably priced. Great drinks. Great atmosphere. I love this place.

Not 5 stars because: not enough servers ever. Every server has too many tables and has to make their own drinks for their tables. They are running around so frantic that they never check on you, so if you need something after your food gets there then you're out of luck. Plus you have to wait to get your check for so long. At night when they are busy, you will wait a long time for a table because so many people are waiting on their check. Btw, you pay at the front register after you get your check. Don't expect to go in and get out quickly. The parking is horrendous but i blame the city/building owner, not the restaurant. All that said this is still one of my favorite restaurants and will always continue to go.

Fyi: they do take out but i don't recommend it, it's better quality food when you eat in. I've had bad food when I've gotten take out but the best food...

Well that's twice I ordered your tostada and they had just broken a taco shell in half you would think for $10 meal you would get a regular tostada shell and that's why I stopped going there funny how people rank in this town. I mean just ask my neighbor who pretends to be me quite frightening actually. And that's how I feel going into restaurants to consider and after that Kelly boys stole my cell phone is actually pinging there. Well I guess maybe people could pick away for a conspiracy cuz that's what I'm being told that this is a conspiracy so which one is it which kind of conspiracy is it to ruin my life other's lives is it to destruction if it's money monetary gain power greed. Well I'm just going to go with destruction or all of the above apparently. And if there is meaning in that and I hope not because I didn't get it the first time I was annoyed and the second time that everybody wants to be what true to their heritage. And better yet next time it's reserved make sure it's the people that are actually reserved that one's faking it I lying about...
