I will start at the beginning: No one was at the counter. We stood there several minutes and finally a young man headed from the back room to the counter. I apologized for waking him up. He said…. “ Oh I was just looking at the schedule.” I made the order . He promptly said the cheese balls were more expense. I said why ? He was interrupted by I guess the manager/cook who finally emerged from the back room to inform me it was a special side requiring an increased cost. Nowhere on the above menus or the menus on the countered pointed out that they were a special side that was more expensive. It simply joined all other sides in the description. I opted out of that side. No one ever said how much they cost. I made my way to the prep table . Ketchup was bone dry . I went to counter and informed them . The response was “oh “. No I’ll get some out there right away…. Nothing!!! Returning to the same prep table I noticed both malt vinegars were nearly empty. Less than 1/4” Remained in either. Back to the counter. I requested a new bottle of the malt vinegar. With much hesitation and their own internal conversation, the fellow appeared with a new bottle. He promptly gave me emphatic instructions to return it to the prep table ! So food arrived. All 4 pieces of fish had burnt flakes/pieces of something in the battered coating. I had never seen that before. Nor had my wife . Here 2 pieces were much much worse than mine. Both were unusual . My wife took all back to the counter. The cook replaced gets. He REFUSED to replace the other two! The corn I ordered as a side was at least 3 days old. Shriveled and discolored . I tried 1 bite. Nah ! Terrible tasted like old old left overs. So it goes without saying will will not be back. This manager/cook is disgusting. Paying this fellow minimum wage is a waste of money and really bad...
Read moreMe and my boyfriend went to LGS on Hwy 60 tonight and found a single employee by the name of Tish by herself because her coworker did not come back after break. I asked her for the district managers number and i will be calling her tomorrow. We decide not to eat because she was already struggling with the orders she already had and I called back later to check on her. They finally had another manager from another store come in and help her. But not the manager of that store what type of manager would leave your employee twisting in the wind like that one it unprofessional and two was unsafe to their coworker being left by herself. When we arrived around 4:30 the lot was dead. We weren't sure they were open. Went to door and walked inside. It was quiet.
Walked to counter and commented about no traffic to which the cashier responded, "We are busy from 11-2 then 5-6." Indicating it was slow time.
Ordered a #11 and 2 #12s (all chicken). The cook made up plates with 8 pieces of chicken and said she's making the other 3. I wonder why so much chicken was pre ready during a dead time? It was hard and rubbery. And from the looks of it likely had been there since lunch rush. Sad sad situation. Don't eat here. Its a waste of money. Look at the pics for reference.
