Waffle House — Restaurant in Kentucky

I went Inside to order my food to go because I had somewhere to be this morning. I sat down at the counter where there was only one other customer because I like to order a cup of coffee and sit while I wait for my food. the server approached me and when I told her I wanted to order to go she pointed to the register for me to go there to make my order And I told her I would like a cup of coffee with some cream while I wait. I did not think sitting at the counter was a huge deal since there was only one other customer sitting there. so the waitress gets my coffee and still refuses to take my to go order. So I walk over to the register to place my to go order only to stand there longer than 5 minutes waiting for someone to help me. Another waitress noticed me and asked the same waitress as I was dealing with before to get my order and she still does not as she is standing waiting to call other orders. Yes they were getting a little busy but i felt ignored and irriated how i was treated. I've never had service this bad at this location. I was incredibly unhappy, so much so that I walked out, drove directly over to Burger King, ordered some food and wrote this review. I refuse to pay 20% on too of a to go order when the service is lacking. Do better...

Tonight at 10pm , we decided to go to waffle house and let me tell ya no regrets!!! This has to be the best service me and my bf has ever had!!! The food was the best!!!!! Bdubs got nothing on their food tonight !! The burger was so juicy ( not grease but juicy) filled with so much flavors !!! The hash browns omggg my bf said his melt was making and his hash browns was amazing !!! The place was so lively and so much positive vibes as soon as we walked in!! Im not sure the names but it was the lady with blonde hair and tall super sweat and honestly treated us like she known us all her life and felt like family!!! The young man i believe his name was Adam or Alex the cook has made my belly happy ! If you was to blind fold me and serve his food to me I'd think it was made by a professional chef no lie !! If them two work every Saturday night best believe we will be coming back just for them!!! I told my bf I could eat 10 of those burgers !!! I can't get over it ! Best service evvveerrrr and I mean everr!!!!! Thank ya' ll so much for a fun and enjoyable night !!!! PERFECT!!! I recommend the Philly stake melt and double cheese burger made by the cook tonight ! I dunno what to say...TEN OUTTA TEN!! DIAMOND WAS THE SWEETEST AND MOST LOVELY WAITRESS WHO HAS EVER EXISTED. We were on a trip with THIRTY FIVE crazy teenagers and they handled it so well! Their service was beyond anything I've ever experienced. She legit gave us a waffle FOR FREE. And I like free stuff! First we got a cheese steak melt to share and then Diamond came over with a big smile on her face ready to serve us further! We are from Cali and this was a great first time Kentucky experience! The tunes were pumpin' and Diamond started DANCING AND SINGING ALONG WITH US!! She called us her waffle house fam!! I love Diamond guys!! Diamond, if you see this, we love you so much! God bless you and I hope we can come back!! I will never forget...
