Dayton Street Eats — Restaurant in Kettering

I've been looking forward to going to this place for months and finally made it yesterday! Was not disappointed. A friend and I split the Ruben or bearded lady and an order of the cinnamon balls. The Reuben was moist, quite filling even a half a sandwich, and the cinnamon balls were delicious. I will say I'm not a fan of having Apple in my sauerkraut and I think it should be noted. Maybe it is but I didn't notice it. I'm also not a fan of the spicy Street sauce on my Reuben. But with that said I will still try other sandwiches. I'm just a Reuben aficionado and like it in a very specific way. Good job Dayton Street Eats. I wish more people knew about you! I'll be back! Just a note, it is carry out only there are no tables inside. But the girl that made our sandwiches brought them out to our car. I love over and...

OMG! AND WOW! That's what my family and I kept saying as we tried the food from this place!!! So, we were on DoorDash looking for something we'd never tried before and gave them a go. All I can say is, every last sandwich we ordered was a excellent portion, the quality was EXCEPTIONAL......I just cant express how delicious! We ordered the 'not McRib' sandwich, the Ruben, the pizza, and fries. The smoked meat was JUICY and flavorful......the Ruben was the best I've ever had and that's saying alot because we visit NY a few times a year and love a good NY Ruben. I'll stop rambling.....but folks if you land on this review.....give this place a try.....worth...

I am not from the Dayton area. I was working at Sinclair College and was looking for a place to eat. I found Dayton Street Eats and thought I'd give it a try. I had the Reuben and fries. My sandwich was made fresh, right in front of me. I spoke to the owner about his storefront and the food truck.
