Well let's start by saying there wasn't a lot of customers there. We pulled in to the drive-thru and right away there was a problem. Waited a couple of minutes before we were even greeted. Then as we ordered we had to repeat our order multiple times. She never told us the total if it weren't for the screen we would have been waiting and not know if she got our order correct. When we pulled up to pay we saw why we had a difficult time, she was on her phone! We payed then pulled up to get our order. No one was there at the window to greet us or anything for that matter.the employee could see us from the front desk but no one can. I could see acouple of the employees walking around taking their time with everything they did. So much for fast food. I waited to see how long it would take for someone to help us. 12minutes before anyone came. I can understand if they were busy but no they weren't. Then the cherry on top, they got the order wrong and didn't even give us any sauce for what we did get. After sitting for 15+ minutes at the drive thru, I was told that the computers are down and there not serving. Ok, things happen, but why can the rest of the world go to manuals but not KL McDonald's? My second visit was worse 1130pm, drive thru no response, hello, no response for 5 minutes, drive to the window no one to be seen, knock on window multiple times, 5 mins, no one, pull around to front look thru windows no one, but all the lights are on? Where is everyone? Then one man comes out from the back then another. I drive back around and omg someone is there! Place my order 10mins later I get my food, the burgers were fresh, the bun stale, the fries ice cold old and stale! Read moreI’m writing to express my frustration regarding the customer service at the Key Largo McDonald’s. On the evening of 9/8/24, I visited the location again, and unfortunately, I wasn’t surprised by the dismissive attitude of the staff. Simple courtesies like a “thank you” or “have a nice night” were completely absent.
As a local in Key Largo, where fast food options are limited, it’s disappointing that this kind of poor service seems to be a recurring issue. Customer service is an important part of any dining experience, and it seems to be lacking at this location.
It would be great to see improvements in how customers are treated, as this reflects the quality of the business. Honestly, we could use a Chick-fil-A in Key Largo—at least they know how to treat their customers with respect and care.
