We knew from the second we walked in we were in the right place. Mr Joel had my husbands watch sized and completed within minutes. He handled his watch with the upmost care. He was very very knowledgeable to our questions. While my husband talked with Mr Joel, Mrs Sosa took great care of me and showed me some of the most beautiful pieces. She asked what kinds of jewelry I was interested in and selected multiple pieces that were absolutely perfect for me. Absolutely no pressure sales. I felt like I was home! Not to mention the elegance you feel just walking through the doors! I loved it so much that I had to get a starfish bracelet that is absolutely beautiful! I am getting married on March 30 of this year, I went to Florida Keys Jewelry for my fiances wedding ring. My overall experience was outstanding. Joel and his son were the two employees I primarily dealt with and they bent over backwards to help Samantha and myself. The ring she picked out was not all that expensive of a ring however we were made to feel as though we were picking out the "Hope Diamond" itself. Seriously, they ordered us numerous shells and sizes of the rings until Samantha was happy and set the stones accordingly. The shop was clean and welcoming. After the first visit they always welcomed us by name and always returned calls when they said they would. I would recommend Florida Keys Jewelry 100% no questions. Very unimpressed. Staff was OK. Not very knowledgeable and told us something could be sized, sold us the item, and then had to refund us because it couldn’t be. Decided to go with another item that could be sized and they said they had a jeweler there that could do it then. Took about 30 minutes and went home with my ring. The ring had 2 very visible solder lines and was not structurally sound. Since I was only visiting for vacation I wasn’t able to take it back once I noticed the imperfections. Took it to a jeweler back in PA who said they had soldered my sterling silver ring with yellow gold (two very different melting temperatures) and the metal was now very unstable and full of bubbles.
