Wadham's Country Kitchen — Restaurant in Kimball Township

Loved dining here. Nice cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff, and very observant to needs and willing to accommodate requests. I believe our servers name was Crystal. Coffee was always hot and fresh, and well attended to for refills. Very nice sized portions for meals ordered. Food came out super quick after being ordered as well. Would highly recommend visiting and checking them out soon. If I had to make any complaint at all, it was just that I didn't have good service at my phone in that certain location, but with it being so close to the KOA I never seem to get good service when I visit there either. I got the lumberjack meal with rye bread. The rye bread could have used a little bit more flavoring to it so I would recommend they maybe seek out another brand just in case they have any other fellow rye bread lovers that come to visit the restaurant soon. The sunny side up eggs were quite perfect though, not over fried or greasy by any means came out very nice and fluffy as I like them to be. Lumberjack meal is a great choice for someone who is looking to get juice or coffee with their meal, as it is already included in the price of the meal. The do have dinner selections as well. I love a good country meal and this place DiD NOT DISAPPOINT!! Upon walking in we were greeted with a friendly “good morning” it’s a seat yourself place, we didn’t realize that and stood there for a moment definitely giving away we were out of town lol but the friendly staff quickly let us know. The place has a lot of regulars so there was a lot of friendly conversations among guests, our server that took our order was super sweet, good at her job and could tell she took pride in what she was doing, very friendly and on point! Our food was outstanding!! I ordered a lot lol everything is homemade and made to order, they have A delicious dessert display also all homemade, my favorite thing about this place aside from the food and friendly atmosphere… they still write your order on paper! Seriously LOVE it! Has such a back in the day/country vibe and being a long time person in the serving industry it took me back to my beginning days, I give a 10/10 and will definitely be back… if you’re a gravy lover, their country gravy is so good!! been coming to Wadhams country kitchen for a long time. Last night me my wife and daughter came in for dinner and it was the worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. The waitress was very rude and short and smelled like cigarrette smoke. My wife ordered a bowl of French onion soup did not get the soup until her dinner came out then the waitress brought her a cup of clam chowder. told her it was the wrong soup. She went back and got the right soup. I ordered all you can eat tacos. tacos are very soggy and no cheese on them. sent them back to the kitchen. reordered more. Only had a total of 5 tacos. normally on all you can eat I get about 10. I guess it's time to stay away from country kitchen for a while. It is the 2nd time in 2 months with the same waitress. Also watched her bring out food to another table with a plate of food stacked on top of a waffle sitting right on the waffle. Going to miss going to Wadhams country kitchen.
