As someone who has worked for multiple different fast food restaurants for several years of my life (age 16 to around age 26), I understand that things can be rough inside (I.E: staffing issues, crew members who are physically there, but mentally they behave like that girl from that one Adam Sandler movie 50 first dates.. meaning no matter how hard you try to teach them even the simplest thing, it's useless and instead of firing said clowns, management keeps them around because they need bodies. Tyrannical management, favoritism, cheap owners who don't want to pay their employees squat, yet want them to go above and beyond, pettiness and drama being brought to the work place etc...) I GET IT! Rude, entitled customers who want their rear end kissed because they're buying a $10.50 combo meal! Believe me, it's all too familiar and that's why I left-- there's no money in the industry.. and there's little respect. However tonight was over the top. Crew members were very rude and made it extremely obvious that they did not want to be bothered with my family and I. They were rude. I don't expect 5 star dining from a fast restaurant in the gas station, but basic manners, respect and decency are not all that...
Read moreWas VERY disappointed with my experience. Went through the drive thru and finally got a response from someone after 5 minutes of calling through the order speaker. The Employee was short with me through the speaker then pulling up to the window to pay was met with the very unpleasant employee who took my order. She had a very ugly mean scowl on her face and yanked my card out of my hand. She then proceeded to hand me my drink then slammed the door shut. After waiting about 8 minutes she finally returned with my burger and fries where she stuck the bag out the window and slammed the door shut again. After driving away and digging into my meal I find my fries actually cold and my baconator having one strip of bacon and it being smooshed. was very disappointed with the food, service, and attitude of the employees from this astablishment. And I can only hope they do something to fix...
Read moreWe were originally going to stop at the McDonald’s across the street but when we saw the Wendy’s, we opted to go there instead since we love the Wendy’s in Canada.
That was a mistake.
As others have mentioned, the staff is very short with you to a point where it feels like they’re being impatient and just trying to get rid of you. The washrooms are nasty although that’s a given because it’s like the first stop before/after the border.
The food itself came very quick and unfortunately it made sense rather quickly why the food came so quick - it was stale. The fries were very clearly made at least an hour ago and being pushed onto us. I never return food but I certainly would have returned these had I not already been on the road when I started eating.
I definitely will not be coming back here. I should have just gone to the McDonald’s...
