During covid the whole place got a little makeover, Gym Peerenboom handed it down to his son and daughter in law and they are slowly modernizing but not too much! Definitely still a dive bar! No credit card machine but an atm is available! No food but you can order butches or Marty's or whatever else and bring it in! Pot lucks during certain events and games. Very big on the Brewers! In a world brimming with watering holes, this Peerenboom's Bar is just 'okay-ish'. I wished for a more sparkling experience, but it ended up flat, like a stale ale.
