Oh my lord… this is probably the BEST brisket I’ve ever had my whole life. You will absolutely NOT be disappointed by this place. I got the 2 meat plate with Brisket and Tipz along with beans, slaw, and cornbread and WOW! The brisket was so tender and juicy and had that perfect smoked flavor to it just šŸ¤ŒšŸ» the tips were fall off the bone and had a great tasting rub on them. The beans were sweet (which I’m usually not a fan of) but also smokey so the sweetness wasn’t overpowering. The corn bread was AMAZING!! So moist and not too dense and not too light it was just perfect and fresh. The slaw was the only thing I’d probably pass on next time, not that it was bad, but just not as great as everything else so I could do without it. I ALMOST went back there a 2nd time in the same day I got lunch because it was just THAT good. However I do think I will make it my dinner plans tonight lol. Not only did everything taste amazing, the packaging of the meal was spectacular lol I don’t think I’ve ever had a meal packed as neatly and as well as this was. They made an otherwise messy meal moderately clean haha (they can only do so much) Each portion of the meal was individually wrapped in foil inside of the styrofoam to go box which not only saved a mess, kept it nice and warm for me as well until I got to that part of the meal. Seems like a small family owned local business which makes it 10x better even, because who doesn’t wanna support the little guys like ourselves? I rate this place 100 out of 10!!! I’m not from the area, just here for work, but better believe I WILL be back here just for this place. Absolutely amazing and I hope you all keep up the amazing work and wish endless success for this business. You can really taste the love they put into it. I wish I got more/better pictures of everything but honestly I was just enjoying the food too much to focus on that. Definitely go check them out!

Review for Peters’ Boyz Texas BBQ From the very first moment, you can tell the owners truly know Texas BBQ. Amanda, the manager, is such a kind and welcoming woman — she made us feel at home right away. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the ribs — tender, flavorful, falling right off the bone, melting in your mouth. You can taste the love and tradition in the recipe, which we were told comes straight from Texas and Chef Mr. Pete himself. We also tried the nachos, which were tasty, though a little on the sweet side for us. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, filled with soul: beautiful postcards, children’s drawings, family photos, and even the story of how the restaurant came to be. You can really feel that this place was built with heart. If you haven’t been here yet — or if you’re just passing through — I highly recommend stopping by. It’s easily one of the top restaurants in Wisconsin for BBQ and grilling. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and Amanda went out of her way to explain everything and make sure we enjoyed our visit. Another great bonus: right around the corner is Timber Tap Taproom and Brewery, with an amazing selection of beer and cider. We happened to visit in September during Oktoberfest — there was live music, perfect late-summer weather, and it made for such a memorable evening. And just to top it all off — there’s even a bike repair station nearby, so if you’re cycling through, it’s the perfect stop! āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø — Highly recommend!

**Update** Have stopped in multiple times.... For Reggie's random specials. First was the fish.... Best breaded white fish I have had in 10 years. Second was a smoked new York strip. Let's just say... Your only given a butter knife to cut it for a reason. Not a single thing on the menu has disappointed me. Stopped in tonight off of a friend's recommendation. If you do one thing this week. Check this place out. Atmosphere is super laid back, with a slight picnic vibe. Staff members are super excited bubbly fun people. Really get that small family vibe for sure. My wife got the pot belly. That's a super interesting mixture of flavors. She absolutely went to town on that sandwich. I got the dry rub rib platter. (Im not a dry rib guy). Absolutely blown away by the flavors in the rub, mixed with the smokey and fire flavors.10/10 The beans were next level. Tasted like they had some molasses and brown sugar. Absolutely paired perfect with the ribs. Corn bread is the exact flavor I needed to pull everything together. Lemonade that is homemade and brings me back to my youth. Nice and sugary, but not overly sugary... At least to me... And a ton of lemon flavor. We definitely will be adding this location into our regular mix. Highly recommended. 10/10 absolutely zero negative for me.

It has been said that some of the best food served is at little "hole-in-the-wall" joints located in areas of town you've never been at places you've never heard of. This is so true!

We never heard of this place as we are from Fox Crossing. My oldest son was looking driving around the area looking at rummage sales and searched online for someplace close by with good ratings that we've never heard of and ran cross this place by accident. WHAT A HAPPY ACCIDENT!!!

This place is small - and I mean very tiny. But from the moment you walk in the front door the smoky smell is almost overwhelming and clings to you when you leave. You instantly start salivating in expectation.

There were 6 in our group so they had to put a couple tables together to accommodate us. The place was PACKED! There were even a ton of people waiting in line for take out orders. They are so busy they even ran out of certain foods. To say this place is popular is a gross understatement.

The menu is not so small that you will not have a good selection of choices, but not so huge that you are overwhelmed with too many choices.

If you like meat, this is the place to come. This is all southern-style Texas cooking. They slow smoke their meats for 16 hours! We got a family dinner with a massive selection of food and plenty to serve our entire group. The ribs are made with a dry rub instead of being smothered in BBQ sauce like most rib joints in the midwest. The pulled pork is incredibly moist and melts in your mouth like butter. Unfortunately, they were out of chicken. They also have their own home made BBQ sauces in sweet and hot varieties that you can dip your meats in.

They have a special way of making beans that includes cinnamon, which I would never have thought of using, and was quite good. They had just changed their potato salad recipe to include crushed deviled eggs, which was fantastic (I'm not a fan of potato salad normally)! We also got a sampling of fried ocra (which I've never had). I must admit, it wasn't to my liking, but the rest of the family loved it.

The cornbread!! OMG! That was absolutely to die for! It's firm yet moist. It wasn't dry at all like normal cornbread, and was really sweet! Some of the best I've ever had!

I've tried many kinds of tea, including hot and cold brewed teas, sun teas, sweet teas, etc... They have their own southern sweet tea. While I'm still not a fan of tea, it is by far the best I've tried so far! The rest of my family went nuts over it!

While the food is fantastic and certainly brings an air of southern Texas flavor, the service brings as air of southern Texas charm! The service is super friendly and efficient, and the owners are some of the nicest, most congenial people you will ever meet!

If you want great southern BBQ with bold flavors and efficient friendly service...and you want to support a local area small business, I would highly recommend this place...
