I have been coming to this Denny's now for approximately 7 weeks since I moved to Missouri. Without hesitation I can tell you that there are several wait staff here that exemplify the Denny's brand. First and foremost my all-time favorite would be Miss Lyndsay. Number two would be soon to be manager Miss Rachel. Number three and certainly not because I ran out of numbers would be Ms Kimmi. Followed next by Miss Taylor. All of these individuals work extremely hard and do an extraordinary job for the people that they take care of. When you come into Denny's is always a feeling of welcomeness especially for an old weary tired out of towner like me. All of these individuals are top shelf. I've been driving trucks for 37 years and I can tell you I will even the management is considerate and very concerned about the appearance of the diner itself and the people that work there are always friendly even though they may not seem like it they're just busy. But when they have time they always make sure you give you a positive greeting and make sure you feel welcome. I've been going to Denny's for as far back as I can remember and I'm 60 years old. I would certainly recommend that any truck driver or anybody working in the trade stop by and have a good fresh meal with a hot cup of coffee and a smile. Drive through Kingdom City without stopping believe me you're missing something. I call it like I see it. Food is always fresh and hot and cooked to order. Along with an outstanding supporting cast it's one of the finer Denny's I've been to in the...
Read moreThe most horrible trip I have ever had at a Denny's! Let me preface that with saying I have eaten at this location before and never had this kind of problem, but tonight's service was horrible. The restaurant was almost empty. There was only 2 other small tables with anyone there, but all of the tables were dirty. We were seated quickly but it was 15 minutes before anyone came to ask what we would like to drink or take our order. My water was gone before the food came and was never refilled the entire time we were there. We had to wait 45 minutes for the food but the entire time we waited I only saw the server clean one table. We finished our food and had to wait for 15 minutes for a group of people to come in before anyone came up front. Then when we asked for a box the server has is go get our own. It was overall unprofessional and very slow. I believe they were short staffed and I understand that will make everything slower but when you could see any of the workers they looked like they were purposefully moving like a snail. I was very disappointed. This has not been my normal experience when I have been here before but I have heard from more than one family the resently this has been the experience when they have come too. If this continues I will not...
Read moreAweful experience at the Dennys in Kingdom City, MO. 4 waitresses and 2 cooks on duty. Only 4 tables/booths with 2 clients at each. So no big crowd. Nobody acknowledged us to be seated. Had to do the “excuse me but can we be seated thing! Ordered drinks a coke and water with no ice. Water shows up with ice(I can’t drink cold). Have our order and waited and waited. Finally asked a waitress about our order. She asked which one was our waitress.no where to be found. Finally came out of back talking to someone over her shoulder. Nothing on the board was response from cook! She didn’t place our order! When we got our meal she didn’t fill our drinks. Both glasses empty. Didn’t bring the toasted bread or the butter on the side! No problem she said I’ll get them. My husband eats 2 to 3 bites of his and finds not 1 hair but several! She says no problem she’ll have it remade! Told her not to bother and speak to her mandatory comps the bill. No manager there. I told her when she sees him to comp the bill and we got up to leave. She stopped me and said I had to pay for mine which I didn’t eat after a wad of hairs in my husband’s! At this point she was getting not so nice advise from other patrons! I’m usually kind and understanding but this was...
