Hardee’s — Restaurant in Kings Mountain

This Hardee's is just about as depressing a food experience as I've had in my memory. We tried the ballyhooed candied bacon snack pack. The bacon was floppy, greasy, barely sweet to be called candied and very peppery. The employees were unhappy and seemed annoyed we were there. The never-ending construction of the place makes it look unsanitary and abandoned. Nothing about this Hardee's experience is what I remember from going to Hardee's growing up. My grandmother would take me to Hardee's for biscuits and people-watching in Forest City, N.C. Those are happy memories. My experience at the Kings Mountain Hardee's is of sad homeless people, unclean workers and bad food. The last time we were here prior to the bacon visit, we paid $26 for two burger meals. That's $26 at Hardee's for two people to eat burgers, fries and drinks. That just doesn't make sense and isn't a smart use of money. Hardee's in Kings Mountain is not the dining experience you're looking for, even in fast food. This particular location needs an Undercover Boss...

Great service first off also the pretty Goth woman working the drive thru Sunday did such a great job making sure I had everything I needed. Nashville hot chicken sandwich was good but the chicken was super small thin price but good. Hope the Hot Goth woman gets a raise she really cares about the customers experience & u hardly ever find one that actually double checks ur bag. A company is supposed to be aware of great employees & making sure they acknowledge them personally & let them know you see all the hard work they do. Cuz she wasn't the manager but u can tell she's the one doing her job plus doing most of the managers responsibilities also but doesn't get paid for it or recognized for doing extra. She should be rewarded by raise and given an incentive so she has a reason to work hard. Once u realize all the hard work you have been doing didn't produce anything that would incentivive you to keep it up.so u start giving less and less effort til you finally start looking for another job to put...

My wife went to the drive thru and picked up biscuit and gravy combo for me which was $7 and some change. I usually just get the meal it's cheaper, but she wanted to treat me to the combo because I also love Hardee's sweet tea. She went elsewhere too get her breakfast and when she came home, my gravy was half empty, spilled all over the place because the woman at the drive thru handed my wife the bag with it standing up instead of lying on the side so it wouldn't spill. 🤦 I ended up taking it all back and it was almost 11 am by this time so we were worried that I wouldn't get breakfast now. Thankfully, the lady there at the drive thru was a different one , because she said she just arrived and she was very nice and gave me a new hot gravy and biscuit combo. Except for the tea lol. I told her I didn't need it. They are pretty good here at this Hardee's here in Kings...
