Many times I have ordered the big box meal for $8.99 with coupon. Recently I visited KFC in Kings Mountain and placed my same order. You are asked at the speaker which pieces of chicken you prefer. When I drove up to the window I was given a total of several dollars more because of the pieces I selected which was 2 breast and a thigh. The lady at the window got rude with me and told me I had to pay extra for the breast. I told her that I never had to in the past. She said this was not the past and that it plainly stated on the coupon the pieces for the money. I have read that coupon over and over and I can't seem to find one word that relates to the type pieces you must choose for $8.99. My coupons says 3 pieces of chicken or 5 tenders. It does state you can mix dark and white meat. So 2 breast are white and a thigh is dark or at least that is what I have been told. If the rules have changed I understand, however, it should be on the coupon. Maybe KFC might need to select the pieces to begin with and not ask the customer what they choose if it changes the price. Another option would be to get customer service people with enough manners to speak to a customer with some respect and intelligence.

Read moreThe service I experienced was horrendous when I arrived at this facility. I witness a specific worker being disrespected by their manager. As I was going to place an order with a Hispanic worker who was very polite and professional I caught the manager who's I didn't catch her name however she was short, heavy set with braids who was throwing her weight and authority around yelling and cussing at this Hispanic worker from the side office. What kind of establishment are you guys running? From my experience you lead by example and treat people how you would want to be treated. I would never want to work here. No one else in the establishment greeted us customers they were busy talking about their personal lives and on cell phones making this Hispanic girl do most of the work. When I saw this and heard the disrespect I never placed my order my family and I just left. This manager needs to be fired or suspended until she can learn to treat her employers right. If this Hispanic lady ever snaps she would be in the right. You can definitely tell this Hispanic worker felt uncomfortable working with this African American manager. Read moreI went to this restaurant yesterday 8/23/25 and the wait for service is horrible! No one acknowledges you at the register you stand there for 5 minutes before you’re even noticed. When you mention the wait the employees say “I’m sorry we've been so busy.” The wait times to get CHICKEN at a CHICKEN RESTAURANT is insane and the employees say “well when people come in and order 12-16 pieces it takes time to make more.” Well if you work at some where that only serves chicken, what do you expect to sell burger or just 1-12 pc dinner a day because that’s all you cooked!??? I understand that the city had an event at patriots park but that is all the more reason the store manager should have collaborated with their managers and leads about events going on near and scheduled enough staff to cover!
