So, before I start let me say this. I have 2 bojangles that are closer to my house but I go to this one in Kings Mountain because it was always better than the others when my husband and I remodeled a appartment there about 2 years ago and ate there often. Yesterday I ordered a family meal that was supposed to be 4 pieces of white meat chicken and 8 chicken strips. With mashed potatoes, dirty rice and a 1/2 gallon of tea. I ordered online and went to pick it up. I drove home to fine 12 pieces of chicken and not white meat. I called and talked to the manager CeCe. She said she would replace my whole order since we do not eat dark meat. I asked if I could come tomorrow (today) since I was already home and it was getting late. She said ok and got my name. I go back today and told the cashier I needed to speak to cece about a replacement order I had called about last night. She said ok and went to tell her I was there. About 5 minutes later the cashier walked out from the back assuming she went on break so I patiently waited at the counter. About 20 minutes later the same cashier came back in and seen me still standing there waiting on the manager so she nodded to me and pointed to the back like she was gonna go get the manager so I nodded back and mouthed thank you. About another 10 minutes later the same cashier came and asked if my name was Misty, I said yes she said ok hold on. I guess she told the cashier to remake my food because the cashier started doing it. When she sat 1 box on the counter I said is it all white meat she said yes. I opened the box with her watching me and it was legs on top. I said it's not all white meat. She said ok and she took it back and I heard what I assume was the manager say yes its supposed to be all white meat, to change it. I had been in bojangles at this point about 30 to 40 minutes. She handed me the chicken back and a mashed potatoes and gravy side and told me to have a nice day. I didnt say anything about missing my other side, or my tea ect. I said thank you and left. It's not the point she said she would replace my whole order and I didn't get everything back. It's the fact the manager never come spoke to me directly or addressed me and made a cashier be the middle person and try to figure this out, when she told me specifically to ask for her or her assistant manager when I got there. I mean I really appreciate them remaking my food even though it took 3 times to get it right, and still missing items. But I don't appreciate making me wait 40ish minutes and never talking to me directly. They were a few customers there but they were not busy by no means. It was just a whole mess just...
Read moreI pass through kings mountain all the time and today was a day that it’s so hot, no cooking was even thought about. My husband and I thought we would do the family 12 piece from Bojangles with the 3 sides,biscuits and sweet tea. First off, When I arrived at the drive through window to pick it up, there was the heavy set guy that acts like he hates his job that came to the window. He said my name and I replied yes. He Handed me the box and than stood there like I still owed him something. The look on his face was like I had stolen something so I comfirmed payment and that was good so I came to realize he just didn’t want to be at work today ( my bad for ordering right?) I ordered on the app so it would be ready and fresh when arrived to pick it up. I was ready for the mess that was in this box that I had just spent $40 on. The chicken was fried in oil that needed to be changed so it was definitely not golden brown. The rice was the rice from the bottom of pot. Some burnt and the other was like it had sat in water and was drained and left sitting all day. The biscuits were like they were cooked earlier and left under the heating lamp. The only this that wasn’t a complete mess was the green beans and sweet tea. I will not be back to this location. Read moreI'm not impressed with this Bojangles. I wanted a chicken sandwich that was not spicy. The lady in the drive thru told me they had one that wasn't spicy. I ordered mayo, lettuce, and pickles. Was going to eat it in the parking lot. Opened it and it had mayo,lettuce and bacon. I was just going to eat it anyway but broke off a peice and it was Cajun. Took it back inside and another lady said all their sandwiches were Cajun. I like spicy but not spicy chicken. I decided to get chicken tenders with buffalo ranch sauce instead. Got to the car and had regular ranch sauce so I had to go back in and get the right sauce. I just moved to the area and this won't be a place that I eat. On top of that, the lady at the drive through just shoved the food out the window and looked the other way. No thank you or anything. Very poor service. Decided to try this Bojangles again, mistake. I ordered a 3 peice chicken tender meal to go. Opened the box, had what looked like 2 nuggets and one was overcooked. The rice was so mushy it was disgusting and the biscuit was way overcooked.
