I am a worker at another subway, around 3:50pm on March 6, 2020 I had a costumer come into my store and wanted to participate in the buy one get one free on the subway app. At the store he put his order in the app and I waited for it to go through to my computer, so i could make this nice gentlemen food, But there was a small mistake, the order went through to the subway in Kings Mountain (not my store). The gentlemen was so apologetic and didn't know what to do. I told him "its going to be okay its an easy fix, we can just call this store and void out the transaction there and try again." (I'v been working at a subway for almost 4 years, voiding an online order is easy as 1 2 3. I know my stuff.) A woman answered the phone, I quickly told her that I was a subway worker and to not make the online order. (Didn't want them to have to waist any food now) I told her about the little mistake, and asked her if she could kindly void out the transaction. The woman confirmed that the order went through to her subway, but told me that she couldn't void it out, we had to do it on the app. The kind gentlemen and I looked on his app and there was no way to void it out, instead the app said this to void out the transaction tap hear to call the store. I kindly told the lady this information, I also said that I could kindly walk her through step by step on how to void it out on her computer, its okay if she didn't know how to do it. This would of taken 30 seconds tops. I'm more than willing to help, AGAIN I AM A SUBWAY WORKER! This woman snapped at me for no reason, "Ma'am I am VERY BUSY, YOU need to do it ONLINE!" and slammed the phone! I look up at this gentlemen and he was horrified! I IMMEDIATELY apologize! This kind gentlemen felt like he was cheated out on his money that could of been fixed easily. I ended up making the nice gentlemen subs and I payed for his food. I wasn't about to make him pay again for his food, because I KNOW This Subway kept this poor gentlemen money. Read moreI went through the drive thru and placed my order the young lady who took my order asked me what I wanted and how I would like my sub. I told her exactly what I wanted stating no cheese and toasted. I get home about 15 minutes away and find I have a sub with cheese and not toasted. I called back making my complaint stating I was not driving back down there tonight and I want a new sub because I repeated myself to the young lady and she repeated my order back to me. She said they were sorry and would take my information to make sure I could come back at a later time to get it. Shortly after that I got a call back and the young lady on the phone stated her manager told her I needed to bring them the sub back and they could then make me a new one. Are you serious. I have never been a big fan of this Subway...but now I am completely turned off. No customer service at all. You want me to pay for a sub then you get it wrong then ask me to bring it back so you can make me another one. No sir. I don't normally do this but when a person makes a purchase at you business you have to uphold you company standard and name by making sure every customers feels they have got what they asked for and paid for.
