Awful...again. I generally stay away from McDonald's because of repeated bad experiences in the past. Only went this time cause my son didn't want Taco Bell and it was getting late and we wanted to get home after a long day. Little did we know the only thing that was actually long was our wait in the drive thru after we ordered. It was ridiculously long. I counted 3 vehicles behind me that simply sped outta there cause they were obviously tired of waiting. Every time I go to this place there is a problem...missing food, chatter among employees I or my kids don't wanna hear, unfriendly incompetent workers who are obviously not caring about giving good service and/or waiting forever for our order. Only McD's that is the opposite of what I've described is the one on other end of Fort Henry near the mall...they are great there...never had one problem. All the others I've visited are the same...bad.
Update...just wanted to share this pic of my "large" fry I just received. At least the service has gotten friendlier but this is ridiculous!
Update...3 visits in a row we've had the same problem. My daughter get the 2 cheeseburger meal and I always tell them plain. Last 3 visits there's been 1 cheeseburger plain and the other regular. I've told them that the way it's rung up on the ticket could be causing the confusion. On the ticket it'll show the meal then underneath it shows "1 Plain" so I believe they're reading it as only 1 cheeseburger is plain. Of course nothing changed cause the next visit the same thing happened even tho I stressed that BOTH cheeseburgers need to be plain. My last visit I tried the mobile app and ordered from it. Picked up curbside and, yep you guessed it, food was missing from my order. I was missing an apple pie and a 4 pc nugget so I had to go thru the drive thru and get that resolved. Read moreI live less than a Quarter mile away, and always get disappointed with the Quarter Pounder there, usually drive an extra five miles to another one, if McDonald's is what the belly wants. Last night I tried again, nobody there, nobody in drive thru, it was closing time... I asked dude at menu board in drive through, "still taking orders?",,, "yes, I will be with you in a moment",,,, after listening to ALL of Stairway to Heaven on the radio, I then asked "Anybody ready to take my order???"... The response was "I am not going to take your order if you are going to be rude".... I HATE THIS INEPT LOCATION. Food sucks, service sucks, orders are ALWAYS wrong, cold, rubber nuggets, droopy burnt oil tasting fries, every way you can screw up fast food, they practice it each day, and every day! Whoever owns this particular franchise has an extremely low bar, dragging the dumpster even. I have lived here for 25 years and out of all the orders, maybe 5 have been hot, correct, and pleasing as marketed and promoted by the huge Corporation proud of food, service and quality... Yeah, sure... Ohh and why when you buy a bag of ice there, NOBODY can put a proper tie on the bag????? Read moreThey ignored my food allergy! I'm DEATHLY allergic to pickles and instead of making a new mcdouble they took the PICKLES OFF THE BURGER like that just fixed all! Once I took a bite a noticed the flavor of the juices that remained on the burger I instantly spit it out and took it back, to which the manager denied that happened and ensured me that the employee didn't change his gloves after thirty minutes like he is supposed to. He proceeded to tell the employee to make another but DIDN'T TELL HIM TO CHANGE HIS GLOVES!! Instead a crew member, emphasis on crew, told her co-workers to change their gloves before making it touching my food! So kudos to her for being diligent enough to think about that even though the manager, again emphasis on manager this time, was just talking about it, yet failed to mention it to the employee! So, NO, I did not enjoy my visit, and no I won't be eating there again! Also yes I'm okay after 10 minutes of being worried and nothing happened I felt it was safe to not go to a hospital.
