Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Kingsport

Normally I love this place especially the staff they are so friendly and just all around lovely people every visit.. but the last few drinks I’ve gotten here taste like straight up coffee. Your flavors are NOT flavoring lately and I’m not sure if we’re just leaving things out on my orders by mistake or what the issue is. Today I got a peanut butter cup blender one of my go to drinks and it’s much darker than normal and tastes like just coffee with a hint of chocolate but I cannot taste any of the PB. The gramma latte last week tasted like just watered down coffee too but with a very small hint of cinnamon. I’m not sure if it’s a matter of quality with your ingredients or if it’s the measurements you’re using or maybe we are rushing and just messing it all up I don’t know, but for the cost of your drinks neither should be a problem for any customers to have to experience you’re simply too expensive in comparison to literally everyone else to be tasting like something I could just make myself at home.. I just tossed that coffee into the bin in favor of one from Burger King if that tells you anything about how poorly it...

I've wanted to try Scooters for a while now just to try something different so my fiancé and I stopped this morning to check it out. Between him, the girl that took our order, and the girl who handed us our coffees, it was repeated 5+ times at LEAST that the iced white mocha we ordered was definitely decaf. I was wrong to believe them. I have heart conditions and can RARELY handle any sort of caffein, at all. A decent feeling day went out the window as quick as the coffee came through it, now I'm in a horrible episode and the rest of my day is basically me confined to the couch because I want to faint. Not to mention the coffee was okay, but nothing like anyone raves about... And yeah, coffee differs between whoever makes them, but it was disappointing. So between the taste, size of a 'large' and the price for said large, I think I'll stick with 7 Brew. Considering if they even THINK they may have messed up and did it wrong, they always (no matter who it is on shift) will come to me and say yo, I don't trust that I did that right for the decaf so lemme whip up another one real quick. Yes I stop here every day and love there drinks I get 2 hot chocolate one for me and my wife but lately I been so disappointed I pay the same price every time at every scooters I go to kingsport is my preferred but lately the kid on night shift has decided to charge any price he wants we believe he is pocketing the difference he over charges every time 2 dollars per drink 4 dollars a visit I ask him about it and he says the price has went up I stopped and talked to manager she gave me one free drink and said she talk to him but yet again he tried to over charge me last night when I told him I talked to Manager he said she wrong I called the other scooters this kid is overcharging 2 dollars per drink I refused last night after being a loyal customer they let me leave and go to Starbucks I be a plant manager my whole life I'm glad you all have so many customers to cheat your loyal ones...
