Wendy's — Restaurant in Kingsport

I’d like to first start out with me and my girlfriend have worked in fast food i was even a manager for a fast food chain so i understand what goes on in the back and i overlook stuff like that cause i know it can be demanding me and my girlfriend went into wendys cause it seems like theres not many of them left and i hadnt had it in years well we come in order our food i got a spicy chicken sandwhich NO tomato (i cannot eat tomato) and baconaitor fries my girlfriend got chicken nuggets, milk, a fruit cup and fries well we get the food and sit down she relizes they’ve forgotten her milk and fruit cup so she gets up and goes and asks for it and they said they only have apple slices well shes allergic to apples theres a pause and magicly a fruit cup and milk apears alright mistakes happen it is what it is so i unwrap my sandwich check to see if theres any tomato dont see any so i take a bite and i can taste it i spit it out and look again only to find there is a absoulty white tomato hidden above the lettuce so i go up there to have it replaced they replace it no problems i sit back down and take a bite of this sandwich and it taste exactly like the after taste of throw up well about this time my girl friend has grabbed her frys which had maybe been sitting 3-6 minutes and they are ice cold so i take them to the front counter and tell the cashier to take one and hold it and she does and i said what do you think about it she says its cold so they get me another fry well we sit down and the louded belch i’ve ever heard from the kitchen then one employee is bragging about kissing on another worker whose married at this point i’m in disgust of the whole thing so we leave vowing never to return well this morning i get up and i dont feel so well and i’ve had food posioning before and i think i’ve got it now no wonder these are...

I swear me and the family love Wendy's food..It's a shame they have the people they have working there. I'm sure they are all not that way but the ones that are not don't do anything to stop it either so anyway. I mean we literally eat here 4 out of a seven days a week at some point honestly probably more because the restaurant is so close to home. 8 out of 10 orders are gonna be wrong and 3 out of 10 orders they completely forget to put the food in the bag.I spend at least $7,500.00 here a year. That had me thinking tonight as I drove back to get my baked potato and was met with a rude employee. I atleast pay half of someone's salary and it could very well have been the one tonight. However it's most of the employees when your ordering you can hear them behind the person with the headset Lord they have no shame the way they talk crap about you while your ordering it's pretty concerning because you don't know what they are actually doing to your food especially when they are that bitter and disgusting and disrespectful acting. I hope someone in the Wendy's corporate office sees this and atleast looks into these Wendy's restaurants in Kingsport,TN. I'm afraid if something doesn't change in the near future I'm going to have to take my business elsewhere. I realize in the grand scheme of things that me taking my business elsewhere is comical that I am jst one person. However I am one person that loves the Wendy's brand enough to say something. I wonder how many have jst chosen to stay quiet and never eat there again or at the very least stop going as much as they used to? Not on account of the taste of the food or the menu options but on account of incompetent rude employee's I hope everyone has a wonderful evening and God...

When me and my buddy went through the drive through and I head the lady say "Hi Welcome to Wendy's. What can we MAKE FRESH for you" I got really excited. A lot of fast food establishments will hand you crusty old food that has been sitting out for hours. To the point where requesting my meal FRESH has become a part of every order I make at fast food establishments. So I make my order. A Dave Single with Cheese/Ketchup only. A large fry. And a Large Diet Coke. It cost about $11. Believe me when I say there was NOTHING fresh about that meal. The burger meat was dried up and crusty. They put PICKLES ON MY BURGER forcing me to scrape off the pickles. You how it is with pickles. Their after taste always contaminates the food. The fries weren't even hot. They tasted cold, stale and flavorless. And as for the Diet Coke, it tasted like it had lead in it. To summerize, the entire meal was SO unenjoyable, not only could I not finish it, I put it where it belonged. IN THE GARBAGE! What's the point of asking what you can make fresh for the customer if you just given them old, not fresh food not made on the spot. What's the point of overcharging when you food quality is SO terrible? I definitely DO NOT recommend this Wendy's. 1...
