I haven't been to any KFC location in over 2 years, they've been moving backwards for some time when it comes to quality and menu choices, if you asked me. So what made me stop on Sunday night? Strictly convenience, and a coupon! Now I took into consideration that it could be good or bad, and went to the drive through anyway. They weren't busy. My interest was in the chicken wraps, going for 2 for $5, he would have the 3 piece meal that came with potatoes, a biscuit, and slaw (which I would have to eat because he doesn't do cole slaw). The coupon was for said meal for $5.99. I wondered how much you actually save with the coupon... this particular meal wasn't even listed on the menu. Even though I stared at the board, it just wasn't there. I figured I'd just check my receipt afterward. So, after ordering I was told to get my total at the window. Ok, they didn't have it figured out with a coupon yet. No prob. They told me 14 and change, but handed the coupon back and told me I could "save it for next time." He thought they were doing us a favor, giving us the discount anyway, and not taking the coupon. Wraps are 2 for 5, what is 6 plus 5, plus tax? Not 14. I told him to check the order, it was correct. But the receipt said I was charged $8.49 for the meal. I was not driving away. I pulled over and walked in to find out what was going on. I didn't get a real answer as to why they did this, and they grudgingly gave my $2.50 back and took the coupon. I'm going to assume that someone had no idea how so put it in the register, unless someone tells me otherwise. How many other people go here thinking they can use a coupon to save a few dollars and end up having it squeaked out of them anyway because they don't spend the time or effort to debate what they're charged? I hope they don't pull this all the time. In the end, the wraps were laughable. Extremely small, one tiny overcooked chicken tender in each. I asked for extra mayo. Nope. The "spicy slaw" version was spicy, but I can't tell you why. Some indeterminate ingredient just making it hot. The slaw has gone downhill, no more interest for me. He reported his meal was "KFC as usual." Well, even if I still had another coupon, I don't think I'll be keeping it. There probably won't be...
Read moreThis KFC has the worst staff. Was there two days ago, ordered the wrap combo with a small gravy. Sat for twenty minutes waiting for my order while the entire staff stood in the back laughing and talking because there were no cars in the drive thru and no other customers. They asked me TWICE what I was waiting for. Finally got my order and the girl apologized for the wait and told me she gave me an extra wrap... Except there were only two wraps in the bag AND they forgot my gravy.
Stopped in again today, waited at the register 5 minutes while the whole staff was in the back. Guy came up to clock out, told me someone would be with me shortly, walked into the back and told a girl that she had a customer. She walked up to the register, stared me dead in the eyes with the most hostile look on her face, tapped the screen twice, didn't say two words to me, and then walked away. I didn't catch her name, but she's got horrible customer service skills and should absolutely not be...
Read moreWent to my local KFC to fulfill my hunger for that good old fried chicken. My mom & dad always took us to KFC and it's as good now as it was back then, just wish the prices were the same. Used the app so that I could get the 8 piece chicken & 8 piece chicken tender meal, that includes a large mash & gravy, large coleslaw, large fries, and 4 biscuits. I wish the sides were a bit bigger for the $30 cost but it was a very tasty bucket of food. Think I got about 3 meals out of it. Never realized how yummy their fries are probably the best I had at a fast food restaurant. The staff there was very nice and were very busy working the dinner rush. The restaurant was pretty clean and there was lots of tables to sit at. I would have taken some pictures but I was so hungry I forgot to ha ha. Definitely use the KFC app and hit up the sales they have on there if you have a hunger for some good old...
