So I have to say, i don't do reviews often. But this place was so good, I had to share! I am vegan, and everything I had was delicious! I was over full by the end of it. My husband eats everything and he also enjoyed everything he tasted!
First off, the location was the only thing that made my husband and I hesitant to try the place. The area is a little run down. The auto repair or garbage on one side and the rundown trailer parks on the other side can REALLY mislead new comers. We are visiting from Colorado and we had a bad experience in 2 different places on our first day in Houston. However, on our second day I checked the high ratings of the Spice Station and we were hungry so we figured we'd take another gamble.
The outside is cute but nothing fancy. Again, the area definitely mislead us. But when we walked in, everything was immaculate! That built my trust. But what really sold us was the owner's hospitality and invitation to try everything on the menu. My husband and I originally intended to get a medium size lunch. But of all the samples we had, ALL of the food was absolutely delicious and fresh! The owner for sure knows what he is doing as a chef but also as a business owner. He was very personable and passionate about his food. It was such a pleasure eating there. We are only visiting for a week but we'll be back before we leave for sure. And I just encourage anyone who is visiting this area to not let the location fool you. It would be a missed opportunity to have some delicious food and impeccable service at an incredibly...

My family wanted to try this place for some time, after the many good reviews we found online, and we've eaten Indian food from time to time without problem. So we gave it a shot. We enjoyed our time there, and went on about our day with the intention of coming back soon. That was until around 9 hours later, when everyone in my household started to compete for the bathrooms. There are only two of them - and there are FOUR of us. And we ate a lot. I'll let your imagination take it from here, but needless to say, it was an all nighter with a few more runs first thing in the morning. At one point, I even considered bringing a pillow with me to sleep on the toilet. It would have been more convenient. Now, I'm not going to jump to conclusions and say that this was "food poisoning". Maybe - just MAYBE - there was some type of spice in this food that just didn't agree with our stomachs, rather than it being spoiled. But either way - the consequence was the same. If anyone has eaten here recently - like this past weekend - and had the same situation - please leave your own review so others can make more informed decisions of the risk involved. If you still choose to come here - I hope your luck fares better. But if it doesn't - I want you to think back to this review while you're sitting on the toilet, and just know that I did EVERYTHING in my power to try and save you...
