Jesse’s Burgers & Shakes — Restaurant in Kingwood

The food park is fantastic, looks like a great place to hang with friends or family when the weather gets nice...you know that week of nice weather we have? I'd suggest not showing up to Jesse's right when they open. We sat around for almost 10 min with the place shuttered. Finally knocked and a young man showed up to take my order. But he didn't speak English. I wanted one rookie combo with pickles, and another with lettuce tomato onions. No pickles. I looked at the screen, and I had bacon, caramelized onions, fried onions... would have cost more than the burger! Finally a young lady showed up and I redid the order, but at this point things were so confused I ended up with two burgers with everything. The burger was decent, but really thin. My wife's was no longer warm, but a super thin burger won't stay warm will it. Fries were good, but seems like bottom of the bag, all very small. I'd have given them 4 stars if the customer service issues...

I stopped by this food truck park yesterday and decided to give Jesse’s Burgers a try since there weren’t many other options open. I ordered the Rookie Burger meal, which is basically a simple meat-and-cheese burger—similar to a kid’s burger at Whataburger but with better flavor. My husband got the Grand Slam, which was more like a full, hearty burger with great flavor and a super soft bun. The seating area was nice, though a bit noisy—the big TV in the food park competed with Jesse’s smaller TV, along with the sound from the fans blowing, the mix of sounds made it a little less relaxing. Overall, the food was good, but I do think the combo prices are a bit high for what you get. They were also pretty stingy with the ketchup. Customer service gives a rude don’t bother me vibe, it was a dude not sure name he’s tall I’m assuming. Fries very bland but burger was okay. I think the service turn me off a lot. I was standing there he didn’t say hello nothing we had to guess that he wanted was taking our order or something idk. But when someone Hispanic went he seems okay and speaking to them well so idk if he didn’t want to speak English and didn’t want to take our order idk all I know is what I seen and heard idk if he was not feeling that day idk but that’s what I saw heard and opinion on food. Burger was fine just fries was not so so and price could be lower but I guess not anymore because of inflation. Hope others have better...
