Peach House Restaurant — Restaurant in Kinston

Went to the Peach House today for a working lunch as a suggestion and I was thrilled to have agreed to try it out. Kinston is not known for it's good eats (sorry Kinston folks) but thankfully I have now found the Peach House and will be returning for future good eats.

The Peach House is set in a little house, go figure. It is equipped with a cute little front porch where you can dine outside and the inside has various rooms with little tables. You order and pay at the counter, take a number and it is then brought to your table.

Peach House has tons of options that range from salads, soups, quiche, sandwiches, and a yowza amount of desserts. I ordered the special which was the grilled chicken caesar salad and it did not disappoint. My co-worker got the ham and cheddar quiche. We were both very happy with our meals. The staff was very sweet and wanted to be sure that we not only were happy with out meals but were happy with our entire experience.

I look forward to coming in again to indulge in dessert and will also utilize the Peach House for their catering and box lunches for work events as they advertise this as one of their specialties! My wife ordered us a cold italian sub, and a chicken bacon ranch panini. We ordered online which took about 30 minutes to get from the moment of submitting. Totally fine!

What's NOT fine was forgetting the italian sub, then taking ANOTHER 30 MINUTES to remake it. 30 minutes to remake a cold sandwich.

The italian sub just made me miss having a firehouse subs in town, and the chicken bacon ranch panini was actually pretty decent, minus the fact it was cold by the time we got home.

If you decide to come here, dont order online, don't get the italian, and pray they get everything right. The people are very nice and the restaurant looked quite clean and very charming, but it's not enough for me personally to...

Seems like a local favorite and I would definitely enjoy another meal here. I would just order something else. My ancestors are from Kinston and was thrilled to stop there while heading home from an event farther south.

I ordered the veggie sandwich and was surprised by how sweet it tasted. I suppose they use Miracle Whip …not a fan. I suspect I would have liked a more savory version with an herby or garlicky unsweet mayo of the same thing.
