Bojangles — Restaurant in Kinston

Would give it a zero, but there's not an option for that. Staff was NOT courteous...to the point of being rude. Thought it was just us until I heard other customers complaining. Customer told the employees they looked so unhappy and an employee spoke up and said I'm the Manager and I'm not unhappy. I was shocked. If the Manager was there, you would think the rest of the employees would have put in more effort. We were there on a Saturday afternoon around 4pm and the place was empty. Now I know why. Food was horrible. No seasoning on fries and they refused to give me anymore in a container. Instead, she sprinkled some out on a paper towel and handed it to me. That's not sanitary at all. Biscuit was dry and crumbling in my hands to the point it was almost unedible. And the bacon was so hard I could barely bite it. I had to remove it from my biscuit so that I could eat. My daughter never got her drink and we waited forever at the counter before someone finally acknowledged us and fixed one for her...with obvious disdain and resentment. I WILL NOT be back to Bojangles on North Herritage Street near the hospital ever again. The staff should be absolutely ashamed for treating paying customers the way that they do. Especially the Manager for attributing to the problem and not fixing it. I still can't believe she was so rude to that customer. I guess as the leader she set the example for the rest...

Once I walked in I see the atmosphere was very welcomed and very calm. Soft Conversations was all over the place....loved it!!! Now ,THE EMPLOYEES IF I MAY SAY,....THEY WERE THE SAME WAY. There was no loud talking, NO playing around. Theysɛoke softly to one another and much respect was given to each other. The young Lady that took my order was very respectful and gentle with her listening and calling the order thru the mike. SO I rewared her with dollar. By the time I got to the other end the other YOUNG Lady had my food already baged and called it out gently,not harshfully!!! I sat down to eat my Grilled Chicken Sandwhich and my GOD, IT WAS NICELY PREPARED ....SOFT TO THE TOUCH AND THE CHICKEN WOULD MAKE YOU SLAP THE PASTOR....LOL!!!! VERY GOOD ALL THE WAY. I ordered 4 sausage biscuits, 1 Cajun fillet biscuit, and a large sweet tea. All the biscuits were overcooked, as well as all of the sausage patties and the Cajun fillet. The tea tasted like someone gave me an 8th of the cup of sweet tea and filled the rest with unsweetened tea. I called and talked to the manager, who told me to bring it back in for a new batch anytime. I did that. It took the manager 15 minutes to come out to talk to me, and the rest of the staff was busy with orders. After she came out and adjusted the drive thru headset she was wearing, she got my replacement food, I refilled my tea, and I left. There was also a spill inside where you wait for your orders, and there wasn't a mop out in the dining room closet, so the lady working had to get it up with paper towels.
