Horrible manager, very rude! I ask for mofongo and chuleta, as my mom also oder pork chop, and my brother ask for steak. The mofongo was good, althoug I think it lack of chicharron and meat inside. The horrible thing was the chuleta. It was tasting bad and smelling bad!!! I call the waitress and ask her to try it and she said she did not eat chuleta, but was going to take inside for the manager try. The manager came and said he had try it and it was very good. I could not believe it! My brother has a very good paladar and also can smell anything if it is bad, so do I. I believe this manager are used to eat rotten meat, this is why for him it was ok. I never in my life had an experience like that before, and he still want to charge me the full amount with the rotten meat that he took both plate inside with just little pieces take. I told him I would glad pay for all the other things that we ate, but not for the rotten meat that we try a piece and felt the disgusting taste. I would not be surprise if he try to serve the same meat to other customer since it was practically untoutched and he said it was good. Totally...
Read moreI will start by stating that this place has great tostones!! (Fried plantains) and their garlic sauce for the tostones is super good too! They have reasonable prices and good serving sizes (you can definitely have lunch for tomorrow) However, once you walk in keep in mind that the food they have on display is cheaper than if you order from their menu. Also, if you dine in, they charge you an extra dollar. Last time I got a plate of oven chicken with fried plantains and garlic sauce. I'm giving this review 4 stars because my husband got the chicken with peppers and it was super dry. We did arrive closer to closing time and we chose from the food that was already prepared so that could have been the reason... if you go closer to closing time, the food that is already prepared may not be as fresh vs if you order from the menu. We will be back for...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would. I went once and the food was decent. I went today and asked the lady what type of oil they use because I was diagnosed with Eoe and can die by my esophagus closing due to an allergic reaction. Most places use soy oil. The lady was very rude and said normal oil. She acted as if I was a burden for asking her. What type of response is that. It made me feel extremely sad and like she didn’t care about customers health. I then asked her to ask the cook and she said no. She just left and stopped helping us. Did not care about my health at all. Very inhumane and should consider getting a job where she gets paid for treating people bad. Never going...
