Vinny's Pizza Joint — Restaurant in Kitty Hawk

11/10 pizza no joke. Best ive had in OBX as a semi-resident. Have eaten at every single pizza place in OBX in the last 15+ years compared to a few gems spread from Corolla to KDH, this is the best pizza i've had in a very long time. Sauce is on point absolutely slaps, dough is perfect. The people leaving reviews saying this is "cardboard" pizza live in crazy town that's the absolute farthest from the truth and is most likely slander/hate/fake reviews from other local pizzareias that have had a local pressence here for a very long time. Seriously don’t know how this place is not 5 stars!! Hands down best pizza on the Outer Banks. Owed and operated by someone who has lived here there whole life as well. Love knowing I am buying from a small business and not a chain. Would say its similar to new York style but there crust is more doughy which I love, so you get both of both worlds. I picked this place because they deliver and the reviews seemed pretty good except for the service....and now I know why. I was hung up on after checking on the status of my order and was told a completely different time frame for delivery, 2 hours later! When my husband went to pick it up he was treated rudely as well. They don't care if you're visiting the area, they're busy and you're just a number. The margarita pizza was pretty good but the pepperoni was extremely salty. Don't bother or waste your money!
