King Wah — Restaurant in Klamath Falls

The food was amazing, The waitress was absolutely awesome. The place was busy, the food great and large portions. The price was great. Having said all of that I would never spend another dime in that restaurant. The owner when my family and I walked in looked at us with the most fowl, grumpy look on her face. She did not greet us she barked out that they had just run out of the special and went about her business. No hello, no smile, nothing but a grumpy attitude. The waitress misunderstood my family member and brought us a large plate of fried rice she didnt order because it came with her meal. The waitress admitted it was her error and agreed to remove it from the bill. The owner came to our table to dress us down and educate us on how this was our only time we could order food and not pay for it. It was the restaraunt's error. Ok so behind my booth is a busy area and a mirror is strategically placed for the waitresses to avoid collisions. The sign hand written my the owner below the mirror reads something to the effect. The mirror is for the waitresses to avoid collisions. The mirror is not to brush your hair, or put on your makeup or PICK YOUR TEETH!! REALLY?? Then we went to use the restroom upon leaving. Much to my horror not more than 20 feet away you look directly at patrons stuffing their faces. Those folks get to see all who enter the bathroom and have pleasure of full view of the stalls, sink and all. I dont know how they could possibly control the bathroom smells in that back dining room. The owner was the most rude human being and am sure she is horrible to her staff.. Would not give this woman's business a dime based on her behavior. So sad. Great food and great staff. We have enjoyed eating at King Wah for years. Everything we have ordered is good and we ate there frequently, including ordering take out during the Covid restrictions. But, we took some out of town family to eat there a few days ago. King Wah has their closing time posted as 9:30. Our large group arrived by 8:30. Because the out of town guests hadn't been there before we took a little while longer to decide on what to order. The food arrived quickly a little after 9. At 9:30 the waitress came and told us they were locking the doors but to finish eating and enjoy. A few minutes later, she came with to go containers wanting to box up the leftovers. About 15 minutes after that around 9:45 the owner came in and basically told us they were closed and we needed to be done so the dishwashers could do their job. I hadn't finished eating and neither had a couple others but I just took a few more quick bites and we left. We were extremely embarrassed.

This was the 2nd time recently that the owner has asked us to leave because they were closed. I have never had a restaurant hurry us before we were finished eating and basically kick us out. Neither had our out of town guests. If they want to make sure customers are done and out at a certain time, then they need to post the kitchen closes to new orders about an hour at least before they expect everyone out.

came into the restaurant and kindly greeted the two female host's whom were up front. one was on the phone taking an order and the other was with a customer. I was ignored.. which was fine. I thought nothing of it and waited. when freed up the older female hostess with sholder length permed hair yelled and said she does not want the customers to be ordering for delivery anymore. as a contractor, my job is to help deliver the food king wah customers purchase to their home and or work. through the platform I was requested by king wah to pick up their customers order and help deliver it on behalf of their business. I have been in this restaurant many times before and have never had a hostess yell at me for no reason to where all the customers could here. I was just doing my job and to be treated so badly for helping them with their business upon there request. i would have not shown up if they had not requested for me to deliver for them. so why request delivery if you do not want to deliver customers food that they pay for? i was shocked to meet a hostess at king wah whom was very unwelcoming.
