I am a nurse supervisor at Serene Manor, only a few blocks away. We have about 80 residents and dozens of staffers. Many of them, as well as visitors, often order Pizza and the Domino's at 900 N. Broadway has been our default source. No longer.
Two employees placed a supper order at 5:00. Within a few minutes, they told me, their Domino's app told them their food was being prepared. At six they called in and were told there was a delay and that it would be there soon. At seven they tried again. By eight, weak from hunger––theirs is a demanding job––they had given up. I called and the manager––who wouldn't give me his name but who the employees had said was Jerome––said their delivery person had attempted to deliver but, when he called to say he was on his way, got no answer and so returned the food to the shop. There was no such message on the company phone nor any such number on the employee's cell phone. Furthermore, as a residential medical facility, we are always open, most of the lights are on, there are several cars in the lot and staff goes in and out all night. In the past delivery people have always rung the bell at the gate; had this driver done so I'd certainly have heard it and responded.
Domino's is the nearest pizza parlor, but hardly the only one. And the young ladies had ordered sandwiches which makes the number of alternate sources even greater. We don't need Domino's nearly as much as I would imagine you need us. It will certainly be made known to all how unreliable––and rude––this Domino's location is. I also have friends at the Health Department next door that I'll make a point of warning. I realize this is a franchise, but I felt the corporate office in Ann Arbor should be made aware of your indifference to the welfare of your patrons and, indirectly, all whom they serve in turn lacking the full vigor of well-fed health professionals. A tiny bit more diligence and concern on Domino's part would have been much better for...
Read moreThe bad reviews are very accurate. I will never order from this Domino's again. I ordered two pizzas at around 5:50 pm. The email that I got said 41-51 minutes for delivery. I waited until 7:10 pm before I called to check on it. The person who answered was unbelievably rude. He said, "Yeah, I see your pizza right here." When I said, "I hope you mean on a delivery screen and not at your store since it was supposed to be here a while ago." He said, "Honey, what's your problem? We only have two delivery drivers tonight." I asked him what they were going to do about my pizza being so late that it ruined dinner, and he said, "Nothing." I asked for his name and he said, "That's none of your business." He then started yelling at me and finally told me that his name was JC. I understand that things happen and deliveries get delayed, but to not call me to tell me and then to make it seem like I was being unreasonable when I asked what they were going to do to make it right was unacceptable. A delivery driver actually came with the pizza around 7:35 pm, but by that time we had already started making another dinner for my family. The thing is, this store is only about 7 minutes from my house and I always tipped around $5. I hope Domino's considers more carefully who they hire in the future, because my experience this evening cost them a long...
Read moreGiving even 1 star is too much. I ordered online at 4:45. The delivery guy messed up my order. Ordered a caesar salad and recieved a garden. I called The store at 5:11 talked to an employee named SARAH and was on hold for 10 minutes and was told it would be sent out as soon as the driver got back. At 6:37 I still had not recieved my salad so I called back and talked to SARAH again and was told the same thing as before. So at 7:15 I still had not recieved my salad so I called again and talked to SARAH again. All I said was that I still didn't get the salad that I ordered 2.5 hours ago and she started arguing with me telling me it was my fault because I didn't have the right number on my pizza profile for them to call me. But I called at 5:11 and it should have been fixed then and sent. Then I told her this was getting rediculous and i wild like to receive my $5 tip back and she argued even further and had an awful tone with me and then HUNG UP ON ME. so I called back and asked to speak with a manager and he told me he would send the driver out with or salad and tip. But did not act concerned about his employee acting so bad or for the food being 2 hours late. Finally I recieved my salad but didn't recieve my tip back! This was an awful experience and will never be buying food from this specific...
