The crew that comes into close, usually after 3pm, are extremely lazy. After 4pm, the phone is turned off, and online orders are disabled, requiring customers to come inside just to order. This has been the case for the last three months straight. The food is always great when made correctly. The sandwich I regularly get (at least once a week) is the Smoke House Beef & Cheddar Brisket. Absolutely amazing 8/10. the other 2/10 times, I end up with oddly sized meat that resembles and is textured like ham, but still tastes like beef. Other times, they will cook the sandwich just enough to melt the cheese, and I end up having to put it in the oven. The attitude of this later crew is awful. No greetings, no respectful service, disgusting CocaCola Freestyles! The opening shift crew however, are absolutely amazing. I quite literally only have enjoyable experiences with them lately. I firmly believe that this place would be infinitely better if the later staff would just not be so lazy. The phones being disabled around 5pm is ridiculous. How can you possibly turn off your phones during what would be the busiest time of day. The lights inside are usually off by 6pm, even though close isn't until 9pm. It is like they don't want to do their jobs.. While I do love the food, the evening service is absolute trash. morning-early afternoon is amazing and I never have problems with them. I do recommend this establishment, but not for dinner. You will only get your moneys worth during...
Read moreI ordered online for delivery. I don't know if any changes to product has happened at firehouse and I say this because quality is absolutely necessary to endure. In recent months, I've tried various sandwiches because none have hit home for me. I strongly believe the chain has changed suppliers. The sandwiches are monotoned, the flavors all meld into one taste and this isnt how it should be. I think the meats are bland and they should be ever present from end to end and bold. The meats just do not hold up in my opinion. Comparatively speaking, the sandwich meats sold at kroger, they are the best in flavors, distinct textures, and bar none some of the best. I will drive to kroger in 12 mins. and get lunch meats with a competitor around the corner from me, 3 min drive. I'd rather go without than buy at the latter. Firehouse should consider changing their supplier. What happened? It wasn't long ago, over a year now, firehouse was worth...
Read moreUsually I don't have a bad experience at Firehouse, except on this occasion. I walked in and because there was no line figured this ought to go quick. I stood at the register, while 2 others staff members stared at me, from the prep line. After about 45 seconds the cashier, who I assume was the supervisor, came out and asked me what I wanted, all while scrolling through something on his personal cellphone. I finished my order and while I waited I overheard the cashier arguing with another employee about why he gave another employee the day off. Thankfully the food was great to make up for this issue. Hopefully next time I return to a Firehouse I don't have the...
