I was really excited to purchase from this company, when purchasing I always try to go with small businesses but I will never purchase from this company again.
I ordered a total of 3 Funko pops, two were just standard orders and 1 was a preorder. The preorder item was gonna be different than originally requested so I had to cancel that item with completely different email that was sent to everyone that had purchased the item. When I received these items the boxes had heavy amounts of damage and one pop had clearly been out of box and was dirty with physical dirt. In addition the item was not the same item as the pictured item that I purchased. The item I received was a completely different sticker which is a huge deal to most collectors.
I emailed the contact us to see what had happened, this where they claimed that when purchasing pops you must put the condition of the pops that you want in the notes at check out. I have never purchased from a company that requires this. Most companies with have damaged in the title to the customer is 100% aware of the product they are buying. Most websites will also have duplicate listings containing the condition if there are multiple pops at the store. In there defense it is in there terms and conditions that you have to find for yourself after you scroll down on every pop.
Dealing with customer service was a nightmare. At first I received a quick response. However they basically seemed like they could care less that I was upset. When I told them I would like I was told the shipping expensive would be completely my responsibility to cover which I have never heard of from any companies I have purchased from. After I finally sent the pops that is when I lost all communication. I would ask for an update for about a month and received no reply. I was told that they would keep an eye out once they received the items but never heard anything. After multiple attempts to contact them I received nothing. I finally had to go through my bank to file a refund.
My experience with this company was awful, I was really excited to purchase from this business after looking at their website and story. Now I completely regret even looking at this company.

First, this response is for the online store, I have never been to the in-person store so I can not speak on that. The could be really amazing in-person so I would recommend if you can go in person. Secondly, I did agree that I did not read the full terms and conditions, but as a customer I shouldn’t have to read the terms and conditions to find out what product I am going to receive. Each item should be pictured accurately with a correct description to allow a fully transparent experience for customers. The coupon thing is my first time hearing about this not once was this brought to my attention.

I ordered an item (order #111792) from Tall Man Toys on July 30, 2025, via my Discover card. They never informed me the item was out of stock or initiated a refund. Had I not reached out, they would have kept my payment without delivering the product. After multiple emails, their representative, Mike, falsely claimed on August 9, 2025, and in later responses, that a refund was processed. My Discover statement confirms no refund was issued, and they provided no proof (e.g., transaction ID) despite my requests. Many of my follow-up emails were ignored, forcing me to file a dispute with Discover and report them to the Better Business Bureau. Their customer service is non-existent, and their misleading claims lean toward fraudulent conduct. I should not have had to take this matter into my own hands.
Tall Man Toys responds to negative reviews with a boilerplate claim of “192,710 lifetime transactions with 32 negative reviews” and states their 11 employees “pride themselves in providing excellent customer service.” This is deceptive, as their failure to communicate, false refund claims, and ignored emails contradict any claim of excellence. The low number of negative reviews likely reflects customers being forced to pursue disputes elsewhere, as I have, not satisfaction.
Additionally, they respond to negative reviews by claiming they are lies, or that the reviewer is not a customer, despite my documented order (#111792) and email correspondence. Other Google reviews show a pattern of non-delivery, unprocessed refunds, and deceptive responses to cover themselves.

Please enjoy the email received from the owner after claiming my review is a lie. As you can see, he admits that everything I've said is true. This email was sent 13 days AFTER I received the email stating my order was canceled and they claimed my review was "90% untrue"
After waiting 10 months for a preorder, the owner has completely gone against everything I've been previously told and is claiming my order has been fulfilled. He is claiming to have just discovered a tracking number (that he won't give me). I never received anything more than a confirmation for my order. They refuse to stand behind their own words from October when I was assured my order would be sent shortly. I have given him months to fix this, to make it right and he never even cared to look into it until I asked for an update or a refund. They have stolen almost $100 from me and are treating me as though I'm the problem. I can not encourage you enough to take your business elsewhere.
Edit: After posting here and other public forums, my order was canceled and I've been promised a refund. I'm leaving this here purely to document my personal experience with this company.
I have NOT received my promised refund. Business is continuing to lie about this situation and slander me when they were completely unprofessional and still have not given me money or product.
