First time here and had a great experience. I got the iced “shakerato” which is 4 shots, milk, and dark chocolate sauce. It’s the perfect drink for someone like me who loves the taste of coffee and a little sweetness. As I sat here, I could hear the baristas talking about different grinds, weighing their espresso grinds, and timing their pulls. They clearly are not a summer moon or Starbucks, they care about the quality of their product, the art and science of coffee.
They also sell Potchke bagels and babka. 10/10 would recommend.
Two long tables, multiple small ones, and bar seating, plus multiple wall outlets. The lights are harsh and there is natural light coming in from both the front and back of the building that compliments the simple wall art. Great environment for having a conversation, studying, or just reading a book. There is lo-fi coffee shop music playing in the background that isn’t very loud.

I brought a book, found a table among the pink chairs and soft background music, and somehow lost track of time in the best possible way. The space feels calm but alive—like the kind of place where ideas (and caffeine) flow freely.

Unlike other dark, moody, woodsy shops in the area, Primo Passo is light and bright and a GREAT atmosphere for a business meet up or study time. I have been to MANY coffee shops, and this little gem is cozy and inviting. So many shops are loud and noisy, where you can hardly hear your guest, but Primo Passo hits that “just right” spot. I almost want to keep it my little secret, but don’t you want to do that with ALL the BEST places? Visit them…you will...
