Ray's Place — Restaurant in Knoxville

If you're hungry and at any one of the engineering buildings, this place hits the spot. There's nothing particularly remarkable about the food. It's mostly cafeteria style grub, and I'm pretty sure a lot of it is premade before it's served. As a result, you don't really get the home cooked vibe you'd think you'd get from a place called "Ray's Place." I worked right above Ray’s place for 4 years. Everything here is something you can buy from Sam’s club or Costco. It is convenient but not even as good as a food truck. I don’t know how they can run a restaurant at this building. But apparently Ray’s place has the best location to do business on campus. I guess they just prefer to make some easy money...
