Sutherland Flats — Local services in Knoxville

First of all, these apartments are lovely. We moved into a recently renovated unit, and it’s been awesome. A few things (A/C, dishwasher, bathroom sink) needed repairs early on, but everything was handled quickly and professionally (shoutout to Joey and Jonathon from maintenance). There are some building supplies around the lot, but that’s expected while other units are being remodeled. The area itself is quiet, and we’ve had nothing but good experiences with our neighbors and all the kids playing outside.

Secondly, Jonathon Romeo from office management is the person to see here. He guided us through every step of the application process (which can feel challenging at times), as well as leasing, moving in, and submitting maintenance requests. Anytime we’ve needed help, if it can be done- he gets it done. Beyond his efficiency, Jonathon is an absolute joy to interact with. He genuinely cares about residents’ comfort and well-being, and it shows. He consistently goes above and beyond expectations. I believe things run as smoothly as they do here in no small part due to his tireless efforts. Seriously — someone give that man a raise....

"DO NOT MOVE HERE" Worst experience ever.The manager nor the assistance manger will not take actions of any of your complaints.Just look at the photo on here,this is a BAD place to live.From looking on the outside it looks very nice and don't get me wrong,the apartments are nice but all the noisy neighbors and crimes that go on here.Take your section 8 voucher somewhere else are if you are paying market rent like we did,take it somewhere else.The manager Olivia Dulniak is not on your side nor is her assistant Kelly.They will lie and make you out to be the bad person.They come off very nice but once you get in there and have a problem,they will turn the other cheek. Corporate will not even answer your complaints and then once you leave to move to another place,they will add all kinds of charges.DON'T MOVE...

Parking is terrible. I had a rental in my name and pay rent came outside it was towed. Even though there was no visitors spots available. I told the office and they didn’t care because they make money off the 250$ you pay to get your car out. The neighbors are rude. Came outside one time someone knocked off my side mirror off my car and I told the office even though we have cameras they wouldn’t roll them back to see who hit my car. At night time walking to your house you have to walk over big bugs. When you move in make sure to check your blinds you’ll pay 35$ for a blind you didn’t break. They will get over on you if you let them. I wouldn’t recommend anyone...
