Starbucks — Restaurant in Knoxville

Don’t go here. It said online they were open but their indoor area was locked. We were at Lynnhurst cemetery and I was having a bladder emergency so we drove to Starbucks because we can always count on Starbucks for a good experience getting some food, coffee, and a potty break. We frequent Starbucks usually at least twice a week and more on roadtrips but did not know this area or this Starbucks. But one of the things we love about Starbucks is the consistent customer experience, great customer service, and clean open restrooms always available. I could see the drive through was open and we wanted to go through it and order food and coffee for everyone, but I had to go potty desperately so needed to take care of that first. I called and asked if I could just come in and use the bathroom quick and the guy said he would ask the manager and put me on hold for a few minutes and then just click hung up or something dropped out so since I was unsure which I called back and they did not pick up so must have been that they hung up. I could clearly see the drive through window and they could see me the whole time I was on hold. So I approached the window and asked the young woman if I could use the bathroom and she said no. Told me to go to a gas station. Or Hooters. So we took our business elsewhere. If we had been in line in the drive through we could have had their attention and help for a couple of minutes but otherwise they could not be bothered with us. We were disappointed but managed to make it to a gas station bathroom. This location is having staffing and training/management issues and is not a good representation of the Starbucks...

I spend at least 10$ a day on my coffee I usually don't go to this location however I was on my way out of town to a friend's house & needed my daily dose of Starbucks. I ordered a Venti iced white chocolate mocha with almond milk 2 expressos instead of 3 & 1 decaf, an extra pump of white chocolate, cold foam & Carmel drizzle... I DID NOT get what I ordered! It looked like what I ordered & so I didn't really pay attention to it bc it looked like my normal drink. I took a sip I noticed they used the ice they use for lemonade & those sorts of drinks instead of the regular cubed ice & when drinking iced coffee it makes a huge difference between the two types of ice bc you get a mouth full of ice along with your cold foam & Carmel drizzle & it just isn't the same I promise! It tasted like burnt expresso & the drink wasn't what I ordered so I looked at the cup & the cup said everything I ordered on it, Im telling you not EVERYONE is made for making coffee certain ice certain ingredients go with certain coffee drinks if you don't know what your doing or you have new people please help your new employees!! We pay a lot of money for these coffees & then tip on top of it. I feel we deserve to get what we order & shouldn't have to come on here & make a review to make a valid point. Yes we choose to pay what we pay for our coffee and if we didn't you wouldn't have a job. I think its fair to say your customers deserve to get what they ordered & if not it should be fixed without a question, problem, or...

Every time I go to this Starbucks I'm disappointed. I continue to go because it is close. The people are friendly, and they get your drink made in a timely fashion ,but the iced coffees,lattes,and green tea lemonades are just bad news. I ask for extra ice in my iced coffee, and when I get it,its all melted down. It happens all the time. It's like nobody knows how to make one and it taste crappy. I get them at the Starbucks out west all the time and they are made right and taste good. The last 2 green tea lemonades I have got from there tasted like plain green tea with no lemonade. I just came home with one and had to add my on lemon juice to it. Again the one out west has no problem with a green tea lemonade. My boyfriend got a vanilla latte the other day and he didn't even bother drinking it because it was so nasty. It was a waste of money. I think they need to retrain there employees to make better drinks. I think the only drink they don't mess up is a plain cup...
