A few weeks before I had ordered the sampler platter from Uber eats and it was plentiful and outside of the chicken being a bit too crispy, it was quite tasty. Fast forward two weeks later and I ordered the same thing and not only was it less than half of what I previously ordered the food was atrocious on ALL LEVELS!!! The fried chicken was burnt and dry, the meatloaf was cold and had ketchup slathering the burnt parts, the fries were cold, the Mac and cheese was either burnt or had some kind of black stuff in it and the dumplings were cold and congealed with zero chicken and the mass of grotesqueness biscuits were were burnt and the cornbread dry and hard. My wife ordered the vegetarian plate and without sounding redundant, she couldn't eat it. Upon calling to complain about these atrocious meals, I was basically called a liar and the blame was passed off onto Uber eats. I offered to send them photos and I was informed that photos can be manipulated and once Uber eats picks it up, it's no longer their responsibility. I have no idea if the rude and dismissive person that I spoke with knows how the Uber Eats app works, but you are notified when they arrive, when they leave and when they deliver. You can even watch it in real time on your screen. So you can't pass the blame on them for it being cold and congealed...I live less than seven minutes away. As far as my photos being "manipulated", they are posted on this review. If any photography analyst would like to examine them, I would love to get your opinion. Also what the rude and dismissive person on the other end of the phone didn't know is that not only am I leaving a Google review, but that I am a Cracker Barrel stock holder and have been since the mid 90s. Do you NOT think I want you to succeed??? In conclusion, this particular Cracker Barrel, not all, should be avoided. There's a plethora of restaurants in a one mile vicinity that you can go to or order from that are consistent with portions, won't serve you burnt or cold food and won't treat you like a liar when you bring it to their attention. Go or order from them. Skip this place.

I have been to many Cracker Barrel locations over the years and this is the best location hands down. I had the opportunity to visit this store 4 times in one week with friends of mine last week. During those visits we had 3 different servers and each time we had great service. Our friends are a blind couple we know and they frequently dine at this location (this is the only local location they will dine at) and it was great seeing the way the staff treated them. Michelle even remembers what they order and how they like their food to be so they know where it is so they can eat it easier. It made my heart soar seeing the respect, dignity, and care that everyone showed them during our visits. Besides that the food was great. One time I had requested the salad dressing on the side because I don't like when salads are swimming in dressing, it came out with it on and the waitress noticed before I did. She offered to send it back before I had to ask. I did a quick check and since it was not swimming in dressing and had only been lightly dressed, I kept it and it was enjoyable. The food was always fresh and consistent. I have family visiting in a few weeks and since their Cracker Barrel in Michigan is very disappointing, I have already promised them a visit to this location for some great food and service. I am very happy that I ventured farther away from the location closest to my home and came here.

It’s Cracker Barrel and it’s always good food. A bit tricky to find, (my picture shows the intersection to turn at). Our server, Paxton, was wonderful. Very attentive and knowledgeable. Here’s my complaint, and it had nothing to do with our server. The meatloaf came out cold (as did my hot tea). My husband asked for his meatloaf to be reheated/ replaced which was done immediately and with a smile. He was asked it he needed fresh sides but he was happy with those. I didn’t say anything about my tea being cold because I figured my next cup would be hot and I didn’t want to make a big deal over it (as tea drinkers we are always thrilled when the tea doesn’t taste like coffee water). I was told that there is a charge for a second cup of tea! A cup of tea is $2.99! And it is ridiculous to be charged for a second cup. Do coffee drinkers pay for a second or third cup of coffee? Do soda drinkers get charged for additional glasses of soda? And, finally, is there a charge for more than one glass of iced/sweet tea? I think not. So why is it Cracker Barrel, that people who prefer to drink hot tea are penalized and charged? Teas drinkers want to know!

I had the worst experience at this location! First, was told that the wait would be 15 mins...it ended up being close to an hour before I was seated. I stayed because it's been a couple of years since having Cracker Barrel and I LOVE the chicken fried chicken! Although I ordered just that, they served me the homestyle chicken! There's a difference between a fillet chicken breast and 2 regular size fried chicken breast! Not only did they serve me what THEY wanted me to have, instead of what I ordered. The chicken was lukewarm, the skin was dark & soggy, no crisp whatsoever, it appeared to have been sitting in it's own grease for a period of time and it taste OLD! Once I informed the waitress, she told me that they precooked the chicken and had it sitting under a warmer, but they have to get it out to customers within a certain period of time. This explains why they served me old, boneless breast instead of the fillet chicken fried chicken breast that I ordered. They apparently wanted to get rid of the greasy, soft, oily chicken that was sitting under the light and saw me as an invaluable customer! The waitress had it remade, but just like the first time...they sent out 2 deep fried chicken breast instead of what I went there for! I gave up at this point, left the waitress a nice tip (as I understand it's not her fault) and left with a bad taste in my mouth (mentally and physically)! Oh, to top it all off, when I went to pay for my WRONG order, the waitress had added the replacement chicken on my tab, so I had to wait even longer for her to come and adjust my bill and the manager to issue a refund being that I slid my card before realizing the inflated total. Worst dine out experience in my entire life! I don't even want to look at another Cracker Barrel after that! Very disappointing...from...

Thought today would be a good day to stop by and pick up take out, since I couldn’t order online due to a constant busy signal. So went in and waited by the desk where the waitress/ waiter seats you and told them I wanted to order take out. Told me they would have a to go waitress with me soon. Waited around five minutes, manager came by and said, I’ll have that to go waitress with you in just a minute. Waited another five minutes. Seemed like no one wanted to simply take my order. After about 10-12 minutes, Caucasian lady comes and stands right in front of me and starts looking at a menu. Finally the so called to go waitress comes out and starts taking this ladies order. I tell the waiter who’s been standing there the entire time and is watching this all unfold, hey I was here first. He proceeds to say, well the orders will all get put in around the same time. I thought, well just another day I’ve been discriminated against in this lil ol town. So I say, are you serious? I’ve been here dam near 15 minutes and she just walked up???? They look at me like I’m the help. So I just turned and walked the hell out. Being black at Cracker Barrel obviously means you will get waited on when they feel like it. I will never go back there again, and my entire family has agreed not to give them their coins, and now I am on a crusade to tell everyone I know about this heinous racist behavior. Working in healthcare means I have a lot of people to tell how I was treated. Thanks Cracker Barrel, for blatantly letting me and a lot of others know just...
