Waffle House — Restaurant in Knoxville

We came here for a moms night dinner. Everything was fine until one of the so called ladies that runs this location came over and told us to leave the booth so it could be cleaned and turned over. We told her we were happy to check out with our server and tip but were planning on staying later and would be happy to open a new check with our next server. She still insisted that we leave the booth and that if we had already eaten, we should leave since their focus was turning tables. There were at least 4 other empty tables. Needless to say our server never came back and we decided to leave. I personally left a very low tip, when in the past I have tipped as much as 50% or more since we know we are utilizing the table for longer than expected. It is something we do once a month and have never been treated as such. Usually we get along great with the staff and it's a great experience. We will not be going back to this Waffle House as a group amd I personally will not be going back in the future. Horrible customer service from the so...

I just want to say that this was by far the most horrible service I have ever experienced at this location example one the waitress Amanda didn’t not introduce herself and was very rude. She snitched and shoved everything as if she did not want to do her job. After she place our civil where she never did not come back for a hot second. She did not come to check on us nor to refreshing our drink. I ask for plastic ware and she stated to me the next time let her know in advance because it takes time to get the spoons and other silverware. Second, mistake she provided me my waffle before my actual meal. Third mistake was when I asked if she could please remake my waffle she snatched the plate and had an attitude as if she did not want to do her job. Fourth mistake since she stated they be short of staff( it was about four-five waitress, but the other waitress was too busy walking behind the counter to greet a anonymous person. The food was horrible, burnt and cold. I do not recommend anyone of race to go to that...

I have had a number of good experiences here, but I had a quite poor experience with an embittered, awful waitress tonight - she kicked me out of this establishment in the wee hours of the morning for being drunk. This is ironic, as the majority of the customers at any Waffle House are drunk at any given time, but especially so between 10PM and 6AM. Apparently the fact that I would have tipped 25%+ did not matter to her - she hates her own life and humanity as a whole so much that she simply refused to treat me with basic human decency during this particular night. Her hostility is so unlike Waffle House’s characteristic hospitality. She should be fired and should find a therapist (but it will have to be a cheap therapist, as I bet that she’s broke, considering that she considers paying customers to be beneath her, showing her intense contempt for all of those who walk in through the doors of this hallowed institution.) She should be removed from her duties...
