My Family placed an order from our phone for pick up, we set the order for drive-through pick up, and picked up our food through drive-through. We then checked to make sure that we got everything we ordered, and found that we were missing a green sauce burrito and an empanada. we went into the store to report the error, and get our missing items. The staff told us that they were out of one of the sauce for the green burrito, and they were out of empanadas, so they just did not put them in our bag. We asked if we could get a refund on those items, or at least get something to replace them, and was informed that since we did an online order, they could not refund them. So then we naturally asked if we could replace the items, to which the staff member replied "I don't know what you want me to do ". My wife then said could we have a different item to replace those, and said how about just a burrito of similar price, and cinnamon twist for the missing empanada. The staff member then made the poorest excuse for a burrito that one could do; it was basically a tortilla with two or three chunks of chicken, and like four sprinkles of cheese, and then threw it on our bag. My wife then asked again if she could have the cinnamon twist for the missing empanada, and the staff member replied "why don't you just take what I gave you." befuddled my wife just said how about you give me the cinnamon twist, or you tell me how you can make this right. The staff member then said "I can't get to you the cinnamon twist, because I don't have gloves on " at that point, we just left.
i'm generally not wanting to complain about stuff like this. I know people have bad days, and I know sometimes at a fast food joint, that things are just difficult. But this is not the first time I've had a experience like this at this particular store. This just happened to be the worst so far. we've also submitted a survey, but figured someone else might benefit from...
Read moreSince we're all familiar with what is taco Bell food, this review will focus on the service at the Sycamore street loaction. First off, there were three people making food at the supper hour with one person taking orders exclusively. When I entered, it took several minutes for someone to appear at the register to take my order and then when they did, it took a full 18 minutes from the time on my receipt to the time I received my nacho fries box. In the meantime several more people arrived in the dinning room and stood waiting to order or waiting for their food. The problem is, not enough workers and two of them were preparing food for the drive through only and one for dinning so those in vehicles were being served out of order to the dinning room. Then after waiting a full 20 minutes for my order which was a standard nacho fries box, it was missing my taco! I don't often eat taco Bell and I certainly won't go back to this location as it's reputation is very bad as I saw first hand. Taco Bell is fast food, low wages and all and I get that but there are too many other cheap fast food alternatives to endure this...
