Tokyo Cuisine - Kokomo — Restaurant in Kokomo

The atmosphere was nice. The menu was well organized. What I didn't like were the prices and portions, and some of the service. Had to ask for silverware and chopsticks. I'm not a gluttonous person, and I still left hungry after my appetizer and meal. The amount of white rice that I got with my meal was laughable, and the dipping sauce for my shrimp and crab was about two tablespoons worth. Half of my shrimp and crab pieces were eaten dry because of this.

My family had hibachi meals. Not enough meat, and the amount of rice was not nearly enough. It filled the cup about 2/3 of the way.

Oh, and they allowed girl scouts inside to go table-to-table to sell cookies. Inside the restaurant. Might just be my opinion but I think it's rude to walk up to people you don't know while they are eating and ask them to buy your stuff. Like, go away. I'm trying to enjoy the...

It is one of the best local sushi restaurants. Being a hard-core sushi lover, this place gets it right. It's hard to get quality sushi in Midwest Indiana, but this restaurant strives to bring a good, quality product. Their menu is extensive and covers a lot of different rolls, sashimi, and nigiri. My husband has always liked Tokyo's sushi and I their Beef Nagamaki. Well, we ordered food for pick up this past Friday night. I do not know if they have changed owner's but the quality of the food seems to have taken a turn for the worse. My entrée was way over cooked and looked like it shrank to half the size it use to be. My beef was so dark and so small!!! I had gotten a side of fried rice and even that tasted different. My husband's sushi was average he said for the price.
