I am very dissatisfied with Kroger. The prices have skyrocketed. The sales gimmicks are ridiculous. The service is hit and miss. For example, I witnessed a lady leaving the store with a cart full of groceries and three children, one of which was an infant, trying to cross the busy area in front of the door. No one was there to help her as her toddlers were in danger straggling along behind her. Shame on you, "Kroger". Just try to get a raincheck on a sale item. Not gonna happen. A bag of chips for $4.99...or 5 bags for $9.95. Most families do not want 5 large bags of chips. I changed my mind and didn't buy any. Everything is a gimmick. Even in the height of the epidemic...you could only buy your essentials by coming into store., while anything else could be brought out to the car for pick-up. Makes me think that they didn't care if you got sick or not. I will only go to Krigers for emergencies at this point I am fed up. How about this. Same price for items regardless of how many you buy. And this, "may I help you out with your groceries so that you can attend to your...
Read moreI've always enjoyed shopping at Kroger's, but the last few months have been a challenge, for not only me, but for many other shoppers I talk too, as we are wondering around trying to find things. Suggestions: If your going to invest that much money in a total reorganization of the store ( the second one in about a year, I think), you should include customer service in the Budget. Hand them a map of the store and say if you have any questions or concerns please ask any Kroger Ambassador that we have stationed throughout the store we want you to have an enjoyable shopping experience at Kroger's". The value if a public relations/customer service program like this would be priceless. This is courtesy of a regular...
