Blaze Pizza — Restaurant in La Cañada Flintridge

This place gets busy at lunch hour especially at summertime when kids are left to fend for themselves while parents are working. Parking is not too bad unless it happens to a really hot day and have to park at the top of the two story parking structure. The food is always great here staff is friendly, just keep in mind, they are BUSY all the time!

Soapbox time: I was in a few days ago for an online order pick up and had a little mishap with my order. I must say the, manager? Or head person there handled it amazingly! She did not lose her cool and kept working through the mishap all the while trying to make our order right!

She truly went above and beyond to get it right! I did feel bad after bringing it to their attention and visibly being annoyed with the situation but I did acknowledge that I saw they were busy and were working hard!!! I mean WORKING HARD!!!

She and her team worked together to help me out and again all while not skipping a beat with new orders coming in and out of the oven! No attitude, no “it must have been the customer’s fault” just let us get this right.

I tried to order delivery and two out of the three pizzas I ordered arrived. I really didn’t want to make a seen but I was charged for three and wasn’t getting a refund. I was on hold for 20 minutes without speaking to a real person. When I was finally connected the person on the phone was careless and continued to hang up on me, after my fourth time reconnecting with them they said I would get a refund but they hung up before the could get my info how was I going to get my money back. Although a little ticked I tried to brush it off. The next day I tried to order again but this time for pick up. On one of my pizzas I asked for ranch drizzle, I got home and opened the box just to see barbecue sauce drizzled on in puddles. Not to mention while I was waiting to pick them up the staff seemed rude and uninterested. I double checked the box in case I was wrong but the box said ranch drizzle. I hate causing a scene but is it really to much to ask that they follow what’s written on the order? Overall I won’t be coming back here and until whatever is going...

What's not to love about Blaze Pizza? Employees are always friendly, facilities are comfortable and clean, oh and let's not forget the best part... Custom made pizzas with a wide variety of high quality ingredients. For the inexperienced think of it as Subway but with pizza instead of sandwiches and quality ingredients instead of, well Subway ingredients. Don't be afraid to tell them the exact quantity of each ingredient, you want 4 more pineapple slices, no problem, you want a sprinkling of feta cheese, you got it.
