My friend and I stopped by here as the first bar of our night time adventures, and sadly we didn't feel compelled to stay here past the first drink. The drink menu was very limited (and expensive), and when we asked if they could make a mixed drink not on the menu we were told that it was not something they could do. It felt less like a social drinking space (which is what I thought this was when first heading up there), and instead felt more like a space to order fancy snack food and they just happen to have a small drink menu for the night. Perhaps it was just the way they were operating that particular night we were there, but we weren't overly impressed. The wait staff seemed overwhelmed as well with it being a Saturday night. I felt bad for the waitress we had, although you could tell she was doing her best to help out everyone she could even though she was probably given more people to wait on than she should have. We ended up waiting a long time to get our bill even though we only had one drink each, but I can't fault her for that. She was very nice and accommodating during the little interaction we did have with her. They could definitely use a more better system for managing the space when it comes to the customer to wait staff interaction. That being said, one of the major positives of the rooftop was that it was definitely a lovely atmosphere. The view was very nice, and on a night with nice weather it was a treat being up there. Definitely the kind of place you stop by just to have one drink and enjoy the view before venturing out to a more traditional bar type of place for...
Read moreI swear every year my daughter’s bday dinner is cursed. I understand this is a rooftop bar of an expensive hotel and it’s just that but why does going out to eat these days almost always equal disappointment? If you’re going there for selfies and “atmosphere” then maybe it’s the place for you especially if stained white couch cushions are your “vibe”. However, if u want good service and decent food go elsewhere. So first off we got kitty cocktails which even tho they were at best 4 sips and $5 each, they were tasty. We were never offered water so a total of 5 kitty cocktails? $25. Ridiculous. Never was brought the appetizer, napkins or asked if we wanted another drink. We all got the margarita pizza (3) and I thought it was also ok but the pizza crust tastes like there’s molasses or sweet wheat or something in it. Weird. Also just know a side of ranch which is probably exactly one tablespoon is $1 each. Total was $85, ...
Read moreFood was good, the atmosphere was not as good as I thought it would be for being a rooftop place, but it was okay. Service....was not great at all. I asked for water with lemons with my food. I got the water but not the lemons and had to ask not once but twice before I got them. One person in our party waited 10-15 minutes longer than the rest of our table for his pizza because he wanted mushrooms and he asked for peppers and, of course, didn't get them. Waitress came back 5 minutes later, asking if someone still wanted peppers. I asked for more water and that took a while too. Not a place I'll visit again...
