I was thrilled to learn that this place had re-opened after years of being closed. When my husband and I went tonight, we each ordered a drink and we ordered a roasted jalapeño cheese ball to share as an appetizer, which came with Ritz crackers. My drink was alright, but not worth $14 and I was disappointed to see Ritz crackers at a place with a coat room. While the appetizer tasted fine, it wasn’t anything special. Our main courses came out and my husband’s burger was served with potato chips like we were at a bbq. My chicken plate (yes, that’s what they call it) had under-seasoned chicken, a baked potato, some steamed vegetables, and a slice of bread with a foil-wrapped butter pad like I was eating at Denny’s. I found myself flagging down the waiter when I needed something because she did not check on us often. All in all, I am so disappointed at the new mediocrity this place has attained.

Holy Toledo!!! Stumbled upon this historical delight. Where to begin? The appetizer sampler is huge! Not only that it's delicious too. Hot Buttered Rum (seasonal) is soon good. Baked lasagna and burger for dinner, both yummy and filling. The bar is straight out of history. Finished the night with couple Sandies Coffee and homemade German chocolate cake!!!

This place is a little gem. I mentioned I was gluten free and there was very little on the menu I couldn't have. I even went vegan with my meal choice and it was wonderful. The staff are very attentive and there was no wait for anything. I look forward to coming back with friends.

I am going to try to keep this short but there is so much to say! I made reservations here for my stepdaughter’s birthday there was going to be about 12-15 of us but about 10 adults and two children is what we ended up having. From the moment I called to make a reservation it was amazing. Trace and the staff were absolutely incredible. In a world of less than stellar customer service I thought I had entered another world. I am a little “too planned” so I had called and called again and confirmed then went there to look at the table and set up and was always treated witb respect and kindness even though I was a pill I am sure. The night of the party it looked beautiful when we walked in and they were just awesome. The food was great the atmosphere was beyond anything you could hope for. I will indeed probably have all of my future events here. Just in case no one has said it Thank you Trace and the staff at the Depot for being outstanding. My stepdaughter actually said “this is the best birthday I have ever had.” You guys went above and beyond. It was a busy night and our waitress(I apologize for forgetting her name) had her hands full yet we never went without and felt well looked after! Thank you again you guys! We are permenant customers! Can’t say enough about how awesome this place is l. If you haven’t been you need to go check it out asap! You...

I've been to my share of excellent restaurants and I would place this little spot in La Grande, Oregon in my Top Ten. The food was amazing. The shrimp was cooked just right, the vegetables were steamed to perfection, the wine complimented my meal to the tee. In fact, my husband asked a question about a specific wine and to our surprise, the server not only came back with an answer, but a sample for us to taste. The service could not have been any better. Our waiter was very polite and really on the ball. And the manager was as sweet as pie. The restaurant was busy but our food came out promptly. Did I mention the salad and bread and relish plate? Everything - down to the delicious marinated mushrooms are worth mentioning. I wish I had had room for dessert. The place was CLEAN. I rarely see silverware without dishwasher spots. Not this place. Everything was shiny and inviting. Oh, and yet another thing that impressed me... their very professional attire. You rarely find a place that expects their employees to dress of high quality. Ten Depot's servers were wearing white shirts, black bow ties and black pants. I felt like I was in Tuscany. You must check...

The food was delicious! I was in town for the first time in a while, so we went all out and got an appetizer and dessert in addition to entrées. (This contributed to an inflation of the price per person; the entrées themselves were $20-30 per person)

We tried the garlic and butter sauteed shrimp, the ribeye, the pasta primavera, and Erica's special (which was a carrot cake the night we went). The shrimp had great flavor, the ribeye was seasoned perfectly and cooked to a lovely medium rare. The pasta sauce was very creamy and the vegetables really complimented it. The carrot cake, however, might have been the star! It was so fluffy and tasty, and the frosting was simply scrumptious.

The service was excellent, we were checked in regularly and the waitress was both patient and friendly. The owner/manager also came to chat with us towards the end.

The atmosphere was comfortable; the interior decoration was simple, the lights weren't too bright, and the music was enjoyable. Overall, a great experience and I can't wait...
