Came in to eat USUALLY I get take out but decided since it was my birthday breakfast I ate in the location. Immediately offered me a bar seat . As I’m handicap that’s not an option. Requested a booth seating seater tried to give me a partial open booth seating. I wanted to full on booth as I prefer my privacy. Not enough booth seating weird set up. I do not like sitting in the middle of the restaurant without a booth seating lots of open tables chairs, not enough booth seating but they have the space for it. Eventually sat down or just came over a little too abruptly as I couldn’t even have enough time to prepare myself for the menu read through it Also I’ve never been in this location so I don’t know what they have the offer for food and drinks, so I tend to take my time thoroughly reading the menu. Finally ordered a cup of hot tea wasn’t served with a saucer underneath it got a single teabag not enough, honey asked for extra napkins. The waitress literally brought me two napkins. 🙄 already know what I was in there for my birthday grand slam type thing. Complications with a Serve container how to pull off the lid so it pours adequately slow pouring lid. I wasn’t in the mood to have time. The food came later than I expected. Couple next to me got their food relatively fast my waitress and Amy explained to me today was like her first day. I felt like I was second rate citizen because I got the free meal Lots of passive aggressive attitude from the waitress. Her name is Nicole when I asked her why the other couple got their food sit and she just explained it just worked out that way with no apologies. When food was delivered to me. It was delivered to me by a robot which just proves my waitress was avoiding me for most of the time had to ask for extra napkins due to my pancakes and too much syrup, making a mess. I asked for some wet naps, never was brought some wet naps for the sticky syrup of my breakfast pancakes, I asked for my eggs to be poached and the water to be drained out of the bowl and receive the water was not drained out. There was still liquid in my bowl. Everything was served on two separate plates. I’d prefer some all my food to be served on one plate meal didn’t even come with a side of hashbrowns. Since the breakfast thing I ordered was on the value menu I’d wait an extra 10 minutes before my waitress brought the proper menu as it was not included in the regular menu production. This is my first time coming here I came alone as my family is not in the area currently at the moment, I thought it would be a nice time to stop in to see it was a accommodatable for my husband , children and myself. When we did show up I will not be taking my family to this location. I will continue eating at the Anaheim locations where I get proper service and more adequate seating. The location felt distant, very unfriendly. Coincidentally, I live around the corner. Also, the door is extremely heavy and hard for me to open and to push open. Please fix that to make it more accommodatable for those that have minimal muscle definition and can’t really open the heavy doors? Also, I didn’t like it that all those boots that I noticed had pretty much speakers above them. I didn’t appreciate the music blaring into my ear as I’m trying to eat a quiet breakfast before I attend my service this morning on a Sunday. Also noted that I requested an extra saucer for my tea for the overflowing the teabag. Originally my cup of tea did not come with its proper saucer for water collection and the place to...

It's been quite some time since I last visited Denny's, specifically the location on Imperial in La Habra, CA. In fact, I had almost forgotten why I stopped going there in the first place. After a two-year hiatus, I thought I'd give it another shot today, but it quickly became clear why I had stayed away.
I want to emphasize that my experience pertains specifically to this location, as I cannot speak for every Denny's. Unfortunately, my visit felt more akin to a fast-food establishment rather than a cozy sit-down restaurant where one might expect a more relaxed dining experience. To my surprise, my food arrived at an astonishing speed, which would usually be a positive aspect, but in this case, it meant my potatoes were served cold.
To add insult to injury, my coffee, which I expected to be a comforting and reasonable addition, set me back a hefty $4. What truly disappointed me, however, was the pancake I received—it was literally raw in the middle. I was so disheartened by the meal that I didn’t even bother to take a picture; I simply pushed the plate aside in frustration.
While I can’t provide insights into the quality of food at other Denny's locations, I can certainly say that this particular one has left a lasting negative impression on me. I appreciate the novelty of encountering a robot that came to my table to deliver my order, which was amusing, but it did little to redeem the overall experience. For those who may enjoy bland, fast-food-style dishes, this Denny's might be a suitable option. However, it is certainly not a place I will be returning to anytime soon. My decision is firm:...
Read moreI’ve been coming to this location all year long, so I know this place like the back of my hand. As someone who grew up in this area, I’ve witnessed so many changes run through this place. However, the current restaurant is always very well-kept, and the decorations inside make it very inviting. On top of that, the staff have all been extremely sweet and accommodating. They constantly check on my coffee, water, and just me in general while I’m here. I went through a grueling EMT school/regular school experience during January-March 2022, and I’d come here nearly every day and stay for a couple of hours on end, studying until I physically couldn’t anymore. I couldn’t have survived that period of time without the warm-hearted service of the employees here at Denny’s, the constant warm coffee that fueled my brain, and the great food that I’d order. I even made friends with the employees. In between rushes, they’d come keep me company for a little bit, which made me feel even more inclined to come back. I’d like to shoutout Alex, Klaudia, Doris, and Julie for their unending & excellent service and personalities. They make the restaurant 100x better. Today, I met Brenda, who is the newest addition to Denny’s La Habra. She is also a very sweet waitress, and I know she will do very well here. I look forward to coming here each time, and I always know I’ll enjoy every visit. Hands down, best Denny’s...
