Shibuya 107 Izakaya is one of the very few, and rare, Japanese restaurants I’ve been a patron at in which the seafood quality was outstanding!
For starters, there is cozy and inviting interior and seating arrangements. Unforgettably, the customer service was efficient and highly accommodating, attending to our table frequently.
The sashimi itself, along with the nigiri, was amazingly fresh and thick-cut. The kanpachi, tuna, salmon, and midai were by far the freshest fish in comparison to any other sushi restaurant.
Their Kamikaze roll comes in 4 pieces (spicy tuna with tuna on the outside and jalapeño/sauce on top) quite filling and delicious. You are able to select nigiri by the piece, starting at $2.75 a piece.
Their 9 piece sashimi platter comes with 3x salmon/tuna/kanpachi, all thick cut and incredibly fresh. Absolutely no fishy taste here.
Lastly, their chicken katsu is incredibly delectable and fried to perfection, with a beautiful crisp exterior.
In brief, I commend this place for being one of the highest quality Japanese restaurants in Orange County, situated in one of La Habra’s most prominent shopping centers and fully accessible to a multitude of stores.

We ordered the truffle hamachi ($8.95), shrimp tempura ($7.50), Korean-style seafood pancake ($9.95), a 10 pc nigiri combo with uni ($40), 4 pcs garlic salmon roll ($8.95), and honey spicy chicken with cheese ($11.95). Everything came out looking beautiful, but my favorites were definitely the truffle hamachi and the roll—so fresh and flavorful.
What I really loved was their fusion twist on the appetizers and how the presentation felt way fancier than the price point. This Labor Day weekend they’re even doing free sake tastings and exclusive giveaways, so it’s the perfect time to check them out. Trust me, this is a spot worth adding to your...

What I love about Shibuya 107 is their unique izakaya menu. The small tapas are very flavorful and their pepper salmon nigiri is my go to. Everything I’ve had so far has been thoughtfully prepared and delicious.
On top of that, the customer service is friendly, and always making sure the experience feels welcoming, even for takeout.
Definitely one of my favorite local spots when I want something tasty, fresh, and a...
