I usually get subway no problem. Easy in easy out. I had 25 min to get to work so I thought I would be fine. But on this day 7/24/19 the line was short but the employees look like they didn't know what they were doing near the register. It took about 15 min till I got up to order my sandwiches.
At the register, the employee was helping me finish up my order. He said, "$17.16" so I gave him a $20 bill. He gave the receipt and $1.36 change. I told him, "I don't think that's the right change" we looked at the receipt and realized he charged me for the wrong sandwich. I ordered 2 foot long sandwiches, tuna and oven roasted chicken. He charged me for a teriyaki chicken and oven roasted chicken which went up to $18.64. I corrected him saying, "you charged me for the wrong item. Can you change it?" He went back on the register, took out $40, then told me, "uhh, I have to call my manager I'll be back". He goes to an office in the back with the $40 and shuts the door. Meanwhile, I'm waiting knowing I'm going to be late for work and more people started lining up for subway.
I had to leave because he was still in the office. So I started heading towards the door saying to myself "screw it, it's just a couple dollars" .As soon as I reached for the door the other employee shouted, "Hey! Just get your change! It's right here!" She gave me the right amount and I had to rush to work.
Overall, that experience was pretty bad. employees having a hard time working the register looks like potential theft with one of the employees took about 30+ min to get your order in...

He then tells me because he doesn't want to wait til he gets to the veggies with him "cuz you know" and I said you know huh?? He's like just hope you know what to get before I get done, I said ok yeah just give me a minute I'm not in line for a reason I'm going over the menu its been a while. I get in line tells me you know what you want? I said yeah tell him my order he gets the sub done and we get to toppings, asks what I want I tell him and yes in this exact form he is telling me. Then he asks what sauces and I tell him light mayo and ranch. He says light mayo as in barely any or? And I said no the light mayo or you don't have any? He's like "yeah no we don't and I'm not about to make some cuz you know" and I politely say ok just some regular mayo then. Dude should not have a job, he looks like he hates his life in there, dude should be fired. Read moreI'm writing this because I hope the manager will see it: it's about 3pm on Sunday 14th, July 2019. This location is clean and the food was perfectly fine, but what I saw happen to one of your employees was so upsetting I had to say something. The woman who helped us was short, blonde white woman with glasses. She was very nice and helpful, and worked methodically through the line even though she was by herself.
There was a young man there, tall, thin, African American, his name started with a J. He was on his break and he had one of his friends come in who did not appear to work there. They look about late high school, early college age.
The young man, "J" and his rude jerk of a friend made fun of and harassed the blonde woman as she was working. She was trying to get supplies from the back and help the customers in line.
The display of bullying that woman was so abhorrent and gross that I hope those young men read this. Making fun of people is not ok. And "J" should be fired for harassing his Co worker. Gross behavior and I hope...
