The Regal Bar — Restaurant in La Mesa

I was completely shocked by the treatment I received at Regal Bar. I was denied service simply because I presented a valid foreign ID. The staff had no interest in being reasonable or understanding, and I was turned away without any explanation other than my ID wasn’t U.S.-issued.

The woman who refused me service, with a blonde ponytail and glasses, was unbelievably rude. Instead of offering any kind of professional or polite interaction, she dismissed me without a second thought. The sheer arrogance and lack of customer service here is appalling.

Allow me to preface: the bar was nice, the drinks were affordable, my friend and I were here last Monday. However my experience was one of the worst I've ever had. The staff should know to what I am referring to, I came in two days later and explained the best I could to the bartender working, and left my name and phone number. crickets. Bars need to take some responsibility for their patrons, if I come in and tell you that I was drugged by someone in YOUR BAR, that's not just my problem, but yours too. Shame...

It's a nice bar with an outdoor patio area that is very nice. They have one pool table and a shuffle board. The bar is bright and airy unlike most bars that are like a stale cave.
