Don’t come here when the “owners” if that’s what you want to call them, are here as customers. Ive been coming for months and have never seen so many people on a power trip demanding this and screaming this, just being straight up Karen’s. I’m not sure if it’s just bc they were with a group of friends so they felt the need to prove something, but non the less horrible business mentality. The workers behind the bar were wonderful and nice just like every-time. But these people will make you never want to come back and definitely warn people we know not to come here anymore.
EDIT: I use to love coming here but I had plenty of people come over and say the way your employees were acting was so uncalled for. They definitely went about it the wrong way, like telling me I wasn’t allowed to smoke there but then in the same sentence tell me it was okay, but as soon as she walked away and tells the bar tender before I could even say anything to her. She could have not said it was okay and told me I had to be 10ft away like the bar tender did and I would not have argued bc I did indeed go 10ft away. And about the drinks…. I’ve seen so many people and kids bring in their own drink containers so I’m sorry if it felt like we were being attacked when so many other people have done the same thing. Idk what your employees told you but they did not handle any of it in a...
Read moreI feel like rating/reviewing places like this is harder than it should be. But I shall try anyhow. It's a bar, with food carts. Not a unique idea in the PacNW these days. It's more of a staple in our gentrified region. As for a review, I don't drink, anymore, but I'm sure the beer is the same as anywhere else and the hard liquor drinks taste like hope, courage, lust, love, despair and regret. I really miss drinking. Inside the taphouse is a nice atmosphere with clean tables and bathroom. The bartender was funny and polite and exactly as you should expect on a Friday afternoon in Lapine, mostly on her phone likely searching for a more interesting place to live life. Outside there is a great covered eating area and I think I counted 6 food carts plus a really good coffee shack out front. I'll be reviewing them individually because that's how a review of a place like this should be. It's not like the taphouse is making the food. To sum up, it's a good place to visit if you find yourself there. If I had to pick 1 change to improve my rating I would choose they have an aggregate ordering system. I have eaten at quite a few cart flops like this and I enjoy being able to order at any vendor right from our table. They just simply have a QR code to scan and everything is done thru your phone. Less...
Read moreWas just here two days ago. This was without a doubt the worst place I've been to in.....Ever! First I have to ask for some sort of menu which I receive none... then the beer menu is on a TV and since they couldn't ruin the beer since it's clearly brought in.... then I'm told to go out to the food truck to order pizza. I go outside and find a trailer and ask if I can order a pizza, to which a gum chewing, green haired chic says "I'm goin' ta lunch smak smak😐! BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!!! Then I go to the next food truck, claiming to sell fish and chips! $24 for a full order BUT!!! They didn't have fries so they were replacing them with 'HOME CHIPS' So I ask if that's still going to be $24? Yes indeed! So I order 2 half orders. I'M POSTING A PHOTO! What we got.... one medium overcooked piece of fish.... One piece about 1"x1" burned on the edges. Tiny salad dressing container of dry cabbage and some sliced raw potatoes with some sort of cooked batter pieces scattered about. The entire experience, I can describe in one word. CRAP! I spent $14.00 for two glasses of Deschutes brewery IPA and 32.20 for the disgusting incredible whatever that really was!...
