We arrived at 12:45, were seated next to the šŸ’° šŸ’µ cash register, very dark and noisey. We moved to a window 🪟 seat.

There was a wait for water, a wait to take our order, our appetizer šŸ«• took quite a bit to be served. No one checked if we needed a refill on chips or salsa.

The dinnerware was small and there was an abundance of flies flying around continuously. Gross and really annoying.

Our 🄘 meal came and the kids meal, Mac and šŸ§€ cheese came cold and looked like kraft Mac and cheese ($7.00 for probably 3/4 of a cup). We waited to let our server know and ended up taking the plate back to the kitchen ourselves to have it reheated. They were apologetic.

The portions were literally half the size of Cinco de Mayo. The 🌾 rice was second place to Cinco. The 🫘 beans were delicious. The shredded chicken šŸ” burrito 🌯 was very flavorful.

I really wanted to be blown away by this new restaurant, it was good, but honestly my personal first choice will remain Cinco de Mayo.

Side note: The lunch prices were lower than dinner prices.

June 7,2024; Went to Andale Andale after graduation to give it another try. We walked in and waited to be seated, the party before us was seated and we were left standing at the door. Several minutes later the server said oh! I thought you were with them! The music was so loud it was difficult to have conversation at your own table. We ordered and had to repeat the orders because the server couldn’t hear us. Ordered a margarita and was told, ā€˜you’re gonna have to wait….they’re using the blender. The margarita came half way through the dinner.Ordered an appetizer that also came after dinner had been served. The bill came and we noticed the children’s soda was charged same price as an adults. Brought it to the server’s attention. Her response was, they are all the same size and walked away. Clearly the children’s soda was quite a bit smaller and priced less than on the menu.

Again, Cinco De Mayo is most definitely our first choice. Service, food, atmosphere, prices, and staff are...

I share this review with a somewhat heavy heart… The service and atmosphere and friendliness of the staff is top-notch. The food is another story. I’m not sure why so many reviews are giving five stars to the taste of the food of this restaurant… Maybe this is the only Mexican restaurant they’ve ever been to. I really hate to say it, and I’m only doing so to help them improve (if they’re interested), but the food here is some of the most bland tasting food I’ve ever experienced in my life… everything about this place I absolutely love, but I really think they need some new chefs who know how to use Hispanic spices. I’ve spent most of my life in Southern California and a lot of time in Mexico, so I do know what I’m talking about when it comes to Hispanic cooking. But don’t take my word for it… Order the exact same dish from Andele and Cinco and tell me with a straight face that this place has any taste whatsoever. Between my wife and I, we have given this place five chances and it’s been the same every time. Won’t be going back here unless I hear that they’ve got some better chefs. Sorry Andele… I hope you can...

This is a newer restaurant in LaPine that we thought we would give a try.

There were a good variety of menu items to choose from, including some American fare. They have lunch specials, but no senior discount (my husband always asks). There is a full bar, and they recently implemented video poker.

The service was friendly and attentive. Chips and one type of salsa are served with meals. Our meals arrived hot, and the portions were generous. The shredded beef in both of our meals stood out as being really good, as were the beans. I had a shredded beef enchilada, and my husband had the beef chimicunga. My tamale filling was a little dry, and the outside was really crunchy on the bottom. Maybe overheated? The chili relleno was good, but not as flavorful or robust as I've had in the past.

It's just a tad more expensive than the other Mexican restaurant in town. There is also an extra charge we noticed for additional chips and salsa.

It's right off of HWY 97, and they have lots of...

Stopped in for dinner while passing through and was pleasantly surprised! The chips and salsa were tasty, and my carnitas with rice were flavorful, moist, and had a nice crispy top. It was served with warm corn tortillas. We also ordered a side of fries and they were surprisingly great—crispy, fresh, and way better than most takeout!
