Don’t order the fajitas! Meat was over cooked & the plate was mostly duped with greasy onions & bell peppers. Margaritas are greatly over priced for what they are. I asked about our bill…$16.99 + $4.99 + $4.99. Fajitas choice of meat is $16.99. I asked for both chx & steak. Not double meat. I got charged for each meat?? When I asked the waitress to explain, she wasn’t clear. She said that when both meats are requested it’s an auto charge for double meat? What in the… Here’s the kicker… We got 3 tortillas with our plate of greasy onions peppers & very little meat “double meat”. I asked for an extra tortilla. $.50! Jajaja! I asked her about the charge. She said it’s b/c they’re handmade. 3 corn tortillas for fajitas aka 2 plates of food. Makes no sense. We used chips. She wasn’t going to budge on making things right. I wasn’t going to argue & boy did I want to. She walked across to the next room & started going off about it all w/ her co-workers owners whoever before we exited. Congratulations on losing 2 new to town regular customers! It’s clear where we’ll go instead! We’re easy to please too! Jajajaja! Jeeez! Feeling nickled & dimed for average food & bad service is the worst! 👎

Great menu selection, great service, and even better food! Everything is made from scratch, even the tortillas. A very friendly family run business. They also have a full service bar that makes delicious margaritas. I always go for a combination meal so that I have leftovers. Portions are very generous, as are the bottomless, complimentary chips and salsas. I say salsas because they serve three types with their warm chips. My go-to items are the chili relleno with the most delicious sauce and shredded beef taco. The homemade corn tortilla shell is highly fried, so it puffs slightly and has crunch. So good!

Stopped by for lunch heading back to Bend from Crater Lake. Loved the trio of salsas offered with basket of chips (mild, medium, hot). I ordered a lunch special - enchilada + bean, rice and cheese burrito. Husband got the burrito supreme. Large dishes made for two meals for me! Solid flavor and was just so nice to have tasty Mexican food in Central Oregon as it is so very hard to come by. Special shout out to the entire staff - everyone was so friendly and we felt very welcome and taken care of. Will be back! Especially to try the adorable cantina!

This is the best Mexican restaurant in all of Oregon! I'm originally from Southern California and obviously very spoiled when it comes to authentic Mexican food. Their salsa alone is best I have ever tried. Their margaritas are wonderful. The bar tender has high elbows! The sweet and sour mix wasn't to sugary, a lot of the times it gives me a stomach ache. Next the food, OMG, I ordered the Chimichanga with shredded beef and my husband got the Carne Asada. My shredded beef was amazing, it was cooked perfectly and was juicy and seasoned. The beef didn't get stuck in my teeth at all and was not dry. The rice was cooked perfectly not mushy at all! Even the beans were good, had great flavor and texture. My husband's Carne came with homemade corn tortillas that were so soft. The Carne was also perfectly seasoned and the carne was soft not tough at all. I loved the salsa so much I bought a pint for home. I have had Mexican food in Portland, Salem, Klamath Falls, Bend, Redmond and Medford. This is seriously the best place I found in the entire state! I can't say enough good things...

Why 2 stars margaritas were decent and they do make homemade tortillas although they need to be cooked a bit more. The service was excellent!!!! For people who have not really eaten great and authentic Mexican food I'm sure this will be a nice meal. I was so bummed to find out how "saucy" everything was...drowning in it. To make matters worse the sauce was all from a can whaw wa whaaaw. The pork was rubbery so it had not been slow cooked down, it was also cut into tiny dog food looking bits. I'm not sure why these restaurants don't slow cook the pork the day before and hand shred, get rid of this can sauce yuk. The salsa was odd and the mild one was more like ketchup, it might have been ketchup mixed with salsa Horrible!! The beers were COLD and that was awesome!!! Maybe if you wanted a burrito, taco or quesadilla this would be an awesome pick. The flan was over cooked and someone dumped a whole thing of vanilla extract in there. Homemade Mexican is easy, it just takes a...
